  • Look at these fucked up people. They sit here and joke about legalizing marijuana when people are doing LIFE in prison just for possessing a plant that has NO proven ill effects. This is whats wrong with America. Honestly i dont even want to live in this country anymore if this is what its come down to. RON PAUL 2012! peace outt yall

  • @TheTrueHunter thats some real shit they might smoke and they dont get locked up for it but others do the world is a mystery until the truth pops up...

  • LOL These people start talking about marijuana favourably only once they start thinking about the money. What a bunch of rich, selfish pricks.

  • I'd love to grow my own plant in a stress free environment without having to worry about incarceration. To watch it mature and bud... then test the final product... your work and care put in to a plant that does nothing but provide the sensitivity and love needed in this insane world.

Oh cannabanoid receptors, how I love you.

  • Where's the freedom?

  • These guys are hacks. This is what's wrong with Mass Media. No real reporting.

  • About time. Hell congress won't tax the Rich or themself so we Need to tap this tax .#1 Cash crop and maybe the Rep Aholes would chill out. No way but good try Paul

  • RON PAUL KNOWS 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB AND THE UPCOMING DECEMBER 2012 ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT.

  • These guys aren't funny

  • JUST FREEDOM

  • I absolutely detest the way reporters belittle the issue of human rights regarding marijuana use by cracking jokes about phish and snickers. The issue will not be taken seriously until this kind of shit ends.

  • @skabyss , THEY LIKE DIRTY LAUNDRY ...

  • gee why the drug policies have worked so well? Not ,it only took 70 yrs. to figure it out...our government doesnt have a lick of common sense and i dont see all these corrupt politicians learning a thing yet except how to sell their souls to the corporations of the world. Theres too much money made in the black market by our government and police forces.youve heard of our army protecting poppy fields in afganistan, its the top opium/heroin producer.and i thought we were there for bin laden..?.

  • The Revenuers need money more than ever. "Get a job"

  • It's amazing to see the media focus on munchies and smoking jokes while Paul's main point is that it's immoral to incarcerate non-violent criminals who haven't harmed anyone, and to make taxpayers pay for it. Prohibition doesn't work.

  • @scott04la yep, look at Mexico, Ciudad Juarez

  • Let the states decide is the best solution. The libs are all about this on "Gay Rights" Why not on marijuana? Do I smell some hypocrisy?

  • people need to just stfu if they dont like weed mind your business but let me worry about myself.

  • It's classic watching these yuppies talk about the money that can be made on weed. And the lame ass jokes they make it's almost as if they have tried it. The money is and has been being made by the very people who say it is illegal. If it were legal tomorrow i would not buy it from anyone. I would grow it for my self. Why the hell would anyone buy it? I guess tobacco is legal and people still but it. Do you really want Marlboro rolling your joint's? Adding their not so secret ingredient's.

  • Also, out of ALL the substances, illegal and even legal, marijuana has the most modest rap sheet in terms of causing any real harm to society. Compared to alcohol and cigarettes... I don't even need to get into it. It is considered horrible and criminal to sell it/smoke it, but that's only because they invented a law to make it seem that way. There are no legitamate causes for it being illegal. It's a good sign when you see the mainstream media advocating it's decriminalization.

  • The underground drug market, which has ties with the government, will prevent this from happening soon at all costs. On top of this the power hungry federal government likes being in control of as many things as possible, and they enjoy having more potential suspects to intimidate and arrest with their power. But it is a common sense solution that will eventually come true, for sure, because it is too logical to be prevented forever. Billions in revenue; freed up prisons; a peaceful population.
