Thanks for sharing your basic bread method. I've just started to make bread at home but am looking to make whole wheat bread or white with added seeds (eg.sunflower). Can you add any other ingredients to the dough? Your kitchen is a dream to work in and you have the perfect helper, your beautiful daughter.

I agree with you on scoring the dough prior to baking. It doesn't rise as much. I heard that many bakers wait until more than halfway through baking to score it with a razor. Never tried it myself though...
