My FLW became like this after 2 months, can I dip it in bleach without worrying that it will loose its colour? Its blonde. How about the lace, should I be really careful not to dip it or is it ok? Thanks in advance :)
Tricey, girl thank you so much for making this video....had i know about this trick a few months ago i wouldn't have thrown out one of my old lace wigs....but on another note i did it with my weave and it made it look like new (it wasn't bad off ...4mos. old weave)
That was prolly some type of animal hair mix. Lots of less reputable companies, particularly overseas ones, mix animal hair in their supposed 100% human hair wigs...
Mine did the same thing from best lace wigs, and i deep conditioned it and omg that changed that hair to a totally different wig. I swear imma deep condition all of my wigs lol!
May I ask what made you not use Ammonia? I am not sure if you "have" to use that or what? I recently did the bleach bath with both and my hair did not turn out as good as yours did. I am wondering if I should take out the Ammonia step cause its too much work. Also that unit you are wearing STILL looks great. Thanks for posting this video too.
@Braids4Gro IN my opinion, If the tangles didn't come out the 1st time, then I would use the ammonia. I've only been successful once with that method. Yes, it is to much work with the bb and ammonia. I'm loving this unit all over again.
Thank you for this "how to" video. I have a unit that I was about the toss out too, because it became so tangled after I washed it. The hair just matted up so bad, I can't get a paddle brush or anyting through it. I only had it for a little over two months. Do you think this process will work for me? PLEASE tell how much water and bleech and if a special shampoo and conditioner is needed. Thanks again.
@ElJai52 Please try it out before tossing it. Take sections first to brush it out. Even if you have to "yank" the matted hair apart from eachother. I hope that made sense. I really didn't measure, but I usually just use a cap or 2 of bleach. No special shampoo or conditioner needed. Just don't forget to deep condition
You can also use some downy fabric softener mixed with the shampoo to lay down the synthetic fiber mixed into the human hair wig. It will help the frizziness and matting.
Well done :) It looks great now, and you too :)

@ImaginaryFriend101 If its already blonde, you should be fine. Just use 1 cap of bleach. Try not to dip the lace, just the hair
