Revised storyline: Carly driving off the cliff was an accident and she got out of the lake and ended up in a hotel to recover. AJ took a body hoping with Carly's death he could get his son back.

If I remember correctly she wasn't faking her death, because she looked shocked that they thought she was. I don't remember the rest of the details though.

It made THE Luke Spencer cringe so I am kinda glad they didn't show her supposed mangled body to us poor helpless viewers if it was that nasty

If I remember correctly she wasn't faking her death, because she looked shocked that they thought she was. I don't remember the rest of the details though.
