Well with a 5800 rpm shift point I know I can run consistant 11.66's, I have no roll bars so any faster the strip wont let me run under 11.55, If I shift at 5800 she runs 11.6@113.
Yes you're correct on the 7 grand, while this engine combo was in my '71 Chevelle (3250#) My best et was 10.44 @121 while shifting near 7200, anything more than that slowed the car down. The flywheel is an SFI Scat brand,
weighs 9#'s? The stock "blueflame 6" will be going back into the '57 soon.

No, just a stock stroked but over bored (.060) 327.
56's are nice to see at the strip, not many are all out Drag cars these days.

Thats pretty impressive was just curious since most 327's are shifted around 7000 how heavy is your flywheel 30#?

Yes you can set to where you want it to light up, and shift into the next gear when you see it light up, called a shift light.
