I lost the back part of my fence from our creek. Nothing compared to what happened in Douglas Estates off of Love Street on Old Alabama "BY KOA" that place is a total loss as well..
I got lucky nothing to bad happened where I live but we were worrying since the rain just wouldn't stop and the water in the backyard just kept rising. If we just had 1 more day of rain my basement probably would of flooded.
It did tear my fence down though and at one point my neighbors like 10 houses down trash can was in my backyard.
Just hoping they'll get that water filtered soon though cause I really need a good shower.
The water went all the way up to the roof of food depot. But Bankhead is now open up to the bridge BY MARTIN"S, But as for behind there off love street im not too sure.
This is the worst flooding I have ever seen. To have gone out and see all of this is truely depressing. Like you, this is past mind blowing. Words nor pics can not describe this mess.

I feel so lucky because we live like 50 feet from a lake and we didn't get flooded because we are on a hill.

OH MY GOD. The Food Depot is gone?!
My car place is right across the street! No wonder we can't get through 278!

We tried to get through Bankhead yesterday. The traffic turning around to come back was intense. :(
