software i have that i think is called rip vinyl is much easier, use any turntable, have what ever software you use on and play the record and itll turn it into an mp3 automatically.
when you rip using the TT Record it would be in your best intrest to Rip using headphones instead of using monitor speakers due to bass vibrations & needle recrord feed back coming from the monitors.. rip your vinyl at the highest bitrate the TT Record will let you. i think the TT Record has a update for 256kbps also good idea to purchase a arkiving stylus like the ortofon ARKIV to get a great sounding rip..Hope This helps ya out
that is the reason why I eventually decided to go this route, have a lot of vinyl that were limited/unreleased/whitelabel stuff that I would like to have in digital media format...its totally a labour of love for music!
do you have to connect the turntable to a speaker or can you hear without a speaker?

with the SL3 yes, with the 57SL absolutely, with the SL1 can be done...but why break out all that equipment when this is a stand-alone system?
