the first song is by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. It's titled Four Dead in Ohio. It was made to commemorate the four unarmed and innocent students that were murdered by the so called "ohio national gaurd" at Kent State University on May 4, 1970.
I'm a union operator, got in a 4yr apprenticeship program when I was 18. Didn't know anyting when I started but have been at it now for 36yrs. Some jobs require certain certifications or licenses, i.e., crane work, work in a nuclear plant, ship yards, etc.
Great vid!!!! Nice and smooth operation. I like doing jobs where you have to skim the bucket just under the surface and keep grade. Keep up the great work.
I've run just about every brand of hoe there is. I've been in th International Union of Operating Engineers for 35 years. I went through a four year apprenticeship program when I got in. Right now I'm running a 450 John Deere with a vaccum machine attatchment in a pipe yard. If you're interested in becoming an operator get in touch with the local union where you live and ask about their apprenticeship program. Good luck

Do you need some kind of license to run a excavator or bulldozer or do you just learn as you go? Just wondering, your a good operator it looks like.

heres ho you can tell size diffs.a metric tonne is 2200lbs.
the last 2 numbers on a cat = metric tonnes, 320=20 met ton, 345= 45 met. ton, 305=5 met. ton, and so on
john deere, hitachi, komatsu ect as follows.
150=15 met ton, 200= 20 met ton, 330=33 met ton.
