  • Sometimes the best thing you can do for a horse is make their last couple of years the best years they ever had...

  • @08emaher thank you :)

  • oh my godd i know that this is late.. but he was soo sute. its was odd that he would freak out if you would touch his head, but i guess he got over it after you bought him:) you guys were very cute together.. so sorry for your loss:(

  • @horsecrazy3121 aw thanks :) yeah he'd freak if you touched his mouth while you were riding, which was difficult because when he would take off and buck because you couldn't pull him up. haha

  • He is stunning. I am sorry to hear of your loss.

    his movment is lovely :)

  • @speckybex4 thank you :)

  • What breed is he? and who was his sire? b/c my horse april was out of larks tuff e nuff and they move the same and have the same outline.

  • we have no clue, we got him from someone who was just trying to get rid of him and probably got him from some auction in the first place. we thought he was a thoroughbred at first because of the way he took off. then we thought he was a quarter horse because he went with his nose on the ground and when he got fat he kinda looked like one. then the vet told us there's no way he was full QH, so we're thinking he was an appendix. lol everyone thought he was a warmblood though by the summer. :)

  • this is amazing .

that story is touching, and my eyes are all watery <3

    song goes great .

he was a beautiful mover <3

  • thank you so much !

  • welcome <3

  • ur doing better i wish i could have a horse like gorge cause tht horse was so cute an was probs wanna the best horses i have ever seen in my life ur an amazing rider an i wish u could see him again :) u two had an amazing partnership

  • thanks :)

  • He seems like he was very sweet. Greatest Sympathy.

  • he was :) thank you

  • 2:59 was that at Fox Heath?

  • yepp :)

  • Cool! what did you show in at that? I'm trying to think of who you would've been competing against from my barn.

  • i showed in pre-children's hunter both days (some clips are from a show in the beginning of october, the others are from one at the end of october), we were champion in it at the first one which was rated and reserve at the other. i do almost all of the fox heath shows, i ride at stepping stone which is super close - we can trail ride over probably faster than we can drive :) haha we always trailer over though and sometimes trail ride home.

  • O MY GOD!!!! The pony I leased, TJ, He's from Stepping stone!!! he had a different name tho...we don't know what it is. He left like 3 years ago...do you remember a really naughty appaloosa pony there??

  • haha yeah i know TJ! that was his name at our barn. :) i lovedddd that pony :) how is he doing?

  • He's doing great! haha, he's taught me everything!!! He was a bit lame yesterday, but that was probably because we jumped 3'6" consistently in NJ the day b4

  • Aww this made me tear up =/ You guys look great together and you did an amazing job with gaining his trust and riding him. I'm sure you gave him the best days of his life.

    RIP bud

  • thanks :)

  • I am sooo sorry...... i must of been hard to see him leave the world.... but at least he died with the one he loved knowing that she would never forget him.... R.I.P.

  • thank you :)

  • omgosh im so sorry!!

  • thanks :)

  • Omg aww im so sorry! He was soo pretty =] Your an awesome rider!!

  • So sad! It's amazing how trust can turn any horse in to a champion!

I went through something similar with my old horse Morgan. She was at a dressage barn but she hated bits, so she tossed her head really bad. They cut a piece of her ear off to mark her as unsuitable and then sold her. When I got her she really didn't like people and I worked with her to get over that. We bonded really well, but she foundered and I had to give her back to the lady I leased her from :( .

  • thanks =)

    and sorry about your horse

  • god, he's soo cute. and jeez, he jumped soo nicely even over the small stuff. what breed was he? that's so sad though =( RIP

  • thank you!! he was an appendix we're pretty sure. first we thought he was a thoroughbred, then a quarter horse, then the vet said there as no way he was full qh and that he was probably appendix. but everyone at shows thought he was a warmblood =)

  • wow, i was gonna say i thought he was a warmblood..but it looks like you got the best of best worlds =)

  • this made me cry :|

    RIP

  • thanks. :)

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. He could not have been a happy horse doing what he did when you got him - you gave him trust and happiness for the last couple years of his life and you should be proud of that.

  • thank you =)

  • thanks, i really like this song too.

and yeah i am! with milo...we leave tuesday and stay until monday. i show wednesday & thursday in the baby greens and sunday in the novice eq. =) what are you showing in?

  • well idk if we r going yet cuz the shoreline classic at westbrook is like the next two weeks so idk what we are doing yet but i would only be doing pleasure classes and idk my trainer mite take him in like maybe a 2' jumping warm up cuz DArtagnan is only 4 and a WB so that combination = big sluggish oaf but idk whats happening but my trainer will tell me where to be when

but good luck with milo.....not that you'll need it cuz ur awesome and milo is 2 :)

  • ohh okay.

    and thank you!! =)

  • aw chelsea, this video was absolutely beautiful. i swear, after the first ten seconds i started crying. wonderful job, george will always be in our hearts

  • haha thanks. and sorry =]

  • I cried.

  • sorry =( haha i actually haven't yet with this video...i've definitely come close to it but i haven't yet. i think it's because i have so many pictures of him everywhere that i'm just used to it now. but we both had george's together...i miss those times =[

  • I know and it reminded me so much of my George and my old pony :(

But whats horrible and what I wish I could change was that I'm struggling to remember them as they were (mainly George, I will never forget anything about Annie) I can only remember specific times like putting diaper slippers on his feet and playing with him in the field but showing him, lessoning him, and everyday stuff are now just blurs :(

  • i completely agree! i hate forgetting things...and things that used to be easy to remember i can't remember anymore =[ but at least we have endless videos and pictures. =) as much as i forget, i still have all of that thankfully.

  • Yeah, good point

Something YT is useful for :)

  • definitely =]

oh btw, do you show at the vermont summer festival?

  • no, not this year

we're going to do week 2 of lake placid then just finish up qualifying with one-days lol

  • oh okay. well good luck with those shows!!

  • thank you :)

  • Chelsea, that was so beautiful!

  • thanks =)

  • Aw, this gave me chills. He looked like a special one. Sorry for your loss.

  • thank you so much. =)

  • he looks like he was an amazing horse !

    old or young ?

and is he a tb ?

he has a beautiful trot and canter !

  • thank you, he was =)

he was somewhere around 10-12 years old. and he was probably an appendix quarter horse, because we thought he was a tb in the winter when he used to take off, then we thought he was a qh (and wrote that all season) because he'd go with his nose in the dirt on the buckle...but the vet who helped with his surgery said there was no way he was full qh, that he was probably appendix...which would make sense. tb & qh. =) everyone thought he was a warmblood at shows though. lol

  • ah, the amazing appendix. my horseys an appendix.. i thought he was but i wasnt going to be all like "your horse is a this breed !" bahahah.

hes beautiful. haha, my horse i part QH and his headset is nothing like that o.o wish it was !

  • i agree...lol i love appendix's.

and thanks =) milo's a full tb but i wish he would have this headset too! i'd do anything for a horse with a headset like george - he'd go with his nose in the dirt if you let him, but as soon as you had contact, he'd go into this gorgeousss frame. =)

  • he was so adorable. i think its awesome when you can find an amazing bond with a horse, and thats exactly what you had. =)

  • thank you! =)

  • its ok chels gorge was an amazing horse:)

  • thanks

  • reallly pretyy horse

  • What horse is this? He's a great mover and deffinately has the scope to go up in heights. Reallyyy cute ;]

  • thanks, we were going to do the 3' in 2008 and then junior hunters by 2009, if not halfway through 2008! lol =) he was awesome.

  • How Old was he?

    he seems amazingg

  • he was around 10, we had no way of knowing for sure because we got him from a lady who just had to get rid of him because he bucked her off every time she rode. we knew nothing about his background but the vet said he was probably 10-12.

and thanks, he was incredible =)

  • he seemed like an amazing horse.

you were lucky to ride him :)

  • thank you =)
