That would be awesome to see that video and see them in action. I'm really torn between the cans and the mega bar 50. I like the lower profile of the bar even though they're a little more spendy but wanna make sure they do the job I'm looking for which plans to be dj work and wedding and special event uplighting. I'm debating on ADJ par 38 LEDs and the mega bar 50.
The Par Can is a norrower beam, The RGB 50's are 18" wide and throughs just as far. I have a video I will upload using 10 of the RGB 50's for uplighting a Talent show.
It's all in what look you want. The RGB is only 4" on the ground and The Can is roughly 12" plus you need a base to stand them up and need to be mounted on a stud to conncect the XLRs now your at 14-15"
What kind of plug do you have with them. I have some of these and that plug did not come with them. Did you have to buy them seperate of the lights? Mine are just regular straight out the back, yours come to the side.
It's a standard IEC compouter power cord, the same cord is used for th self powered speakers. you can get the male to female extentions to link about 50 together. Are you lights American DJ LED Mega Bar 50 RGB, oe do they say Mega Pixel, Chauvet also makes something similar. Not as bright.
I definately recomend this light, I hang one under my speakers mounted to my tripods with O-Clamps and aim tem at the ceiling criss-crossing them and they look awesome. I get many compliments at all my shows. I have them on a DMX Operator to use the cool fades, changes, and sound activation.
I also have the bigger Mega Bars. just as awesome!!

how do you think these would work as uplights as opposed to a par can?
