It is not Zoo's that save animals, they simply profit off the exhibition of animals, that is their goal.
It is wildlife sanctuary's and facilities centered around breeding endangered animals for release.
What have zoo's saved? honestly.
They are prisons made to look pretty for humans so they can look at dangerous animals while feeling safe and in the wild.

@respuestasveganas The death had nothing to do with the zoo. Zoos are not "prisons". Animals do not constantly "roam free" in the wild, cherishing the open space and nature or whatever. The purposes that houses serve for humans are actually near-perfect analogues to what zoos provide for animals

@g00dm00sic I can answer hypothetical questions. I choose not to, because they lead to hypothetical arguments. Deal with facts. People hanging themselves is a choice they can take as free beings. Something those animals can't. A choice. They're not allowed. There are others ways to provide for one's family. Better ways. I don't blame them for what they have in their hearts because I can't see that. I can only see what they are doing. So I blame them for that. And I feel pity them too.
