This happens to almost every site that gets popular. Some rich douche buys the corporation that has financial potential, he then gets a shitload of ads and makes the site shitty, unsafe and disgusting. Everyone leaves and that rich douche sells it to some small company and we never hear of that site again.. The same thing basically happened with Napster. An extremely famous site, faced lawsuits (alternative: became shitty) and got bought by BestBuy, no one visits that site anymore...

The day they decided to include a live stream of other people's facebook, twitter, foursquare, and other sites updates I knew that the site was dead. NOBODY wants to see that. It was fun while it lasted.

Facebook sucks too, but not as bad as Myspace. Facebook is too up its own ass about whom one adds as a friend to the point of rendering it pointless. Oh, and people have been fired or not hired because of their Facebook pages.
