is there any art classes you would recommend while i am still in high school .?

@TheBria98 If you're going to a fashion school afterwards, it's advisable to visit such. It might be helpful to visit one of those preparatory classes or courses some colleges do offer (in Europe they do), so you can learn required techniques to get in. I attended similar classes at an institute of education to prepare my portfolio. In Germany most of universities offer portfolio counselling, where students of higher semesters or persons of the teaching staff give you advices.

excellent sketching !!!!!!.....can u help me how to sketch a flow of the dress!...i tried a lot times..bt it doesnt come up well ..so can u help me out the flow,curves of the silk n taffeta wedding dress..i dunoo wen wer to sketch the curves n flow of the dress...help me out!..:)

@haneesha777 Well if it's silk, it will follow the shape of the body, cause it's a soft flowing fabric, folds should be soft,fluent and without strong contrast in the highlights and shadows. Taffeta is a very stiff fabric which stays away form the body and doesn't follow the shape of the body, it creates its own wrinkles. The edges of folds and wrinkles should be sharp. As you see I kept all highlights on the taffeta edgy. For more details, see my tutorial on how to present taffeta and sequins

@haneesha777 It depends on the fabric you want to present. It would be probably nesessary to mix media to reach the effect you want. For large areas you might use fluids but if you have to make pattern or sequins or other small details on a piece of clothing you'll go for a pencil or gel liner. I never use only one medium.

@latecia1 For this drawing I used only two soft pastels (white and brown) and a tortillon. Nothing else. I do draw portraits or other kind of drawings or paintings, if someone ask me to, but I'm not teaching or something- I have a MA in architecture, not in art history :)))
