i swear to god, 90s commercials were made by people with ADD. most of the commercial has nothing to do with the car. heres this guy lookin all important, and he puts the car on a boat. hah
My Acura Legend (Honda Legend) was one of the most reliable cars I ever owned. It was WAY ahead of it's time when debuted for the 1991 model year (keeping in mind it was developed over 88-90). When you see one today driving around (that is if it has been maintained) it has aged gracefully.
OMG, you are WAY too funny! Maybe you should become a comedian just like Adam Sandler so that way you can make Leslie Mann cry just like he did in Funny People.
They're different dealer sales channels. The major Japanese carmakers have various different dealer franchises that they sell their cars through, kind of like how Honda has Acura in North America, but it's not a total rebranding exercise like that is, nobody refers to their car as a Honda Verno Integra or a Honda Clio Legend etc.
Ford truck was also supposed to be funny because it's his last name... so, ha, ha.... GOD I HATE IT WHEN YOU MAKE A JOKE AND SOME JERK-OFF COMES OUT AND JUST RUINS IT FOR YOU!!!!!!!!

That's awesome how Harrison Ford is an American who advertises Japanese Toyota instead of Ford. That's cause Harrison Ford doesn't need a truck to be manly!
Ok you're an idiot. This is Honda, not Toyota. Also, alot of big American stars have done, and still do commercials for Japanese products. Michael J. Fox did adverts for the Honda Integra back in the day.
This isn't too different from any other Harrison Ford movie - basically bad guys mess with him and kidnap his wife or family, he does something dramatic and or totally irrational (drive onto a boat), and manages to execute enough of a deus-ex machina to have a happy ending.
Ahahaha MasterTxJ I thought the same thing, maybe the Communists were trying to get Harrison Ford because he had something to do with the collapse of Communism years prior.
Acura Legend fits it's name as the car is a Legend do this day :D
Do you think Rep. Mike Honda (D) drives Honda? I think there is a good chance that he drives a Ford.

Actually, both models were sold here as Acuras, now that you mention it.

True, but it's quick easy money between films. If I got paid as much as much as celebs do for it, i'd sign on as well.
