idk what the narrator is talking about. it does say to wear the hijab in the holy quran. for her to imply that it doesnt is haram for her and she carries the burden of misguiding or creating doubt. and the hadith is the second teaching we follow and is to be obeyed. the mixing of boys and girls after puberty is wisely forbidden. that being said,no one should judge anyone based on their dress, incl judging women that cover up moderately or completely as extremists.

@Harkiriay IF a Saudi muslim girl doesn't want to wear Hijab, she wouldn't feel comfortable not wearing Hijab in a society like Saudi Arabia, so that's why she would just abandon the country. A lot of girls in Egypt, for example, don't wear Hijab and there are some saudi girls don't wear Hijab too. but this is VERY VERY VERY rare.

@Ryed1989 But going back to the Hijiab: it's not true that western societies hate it. I have a few muslim friends, and I've actually heard a couple of compliments about how nice their scarfs looked. Of course we have closed-minded dickheads as well. But I know these friends of mine wear it because they choose to. In a Muslim country, if you don't wear a scarf you are subject to discrimination from the authorities, from the whole society around you and from your family. This is not "guidance".

@Ryed1989 The point is, your society and your laws FORCE people to follow what you want. An individual should be free to do what he/she wants, not be forced to follow the majority. A woman should not be forced to wear a scarf as shown in this video, just like she shouldn't be forced NOT to wear a scarf. It's called freedom of choice. You obviously have your own judgment which differs from mine. But I'm not forcing you to accept mine, and you shouldn't force anytone to follow yours as well.

Yet she is criticized by nearly every single person in her neighborhood!! This girl is Awesome but I felt so bad for her. Her neighborhood tries to make her feel like she's a freak!
