Thank you Ariela. Does NMC at least try to explain their position? Are they willing to engage? Or are they sitting tight and hoping this will go away?
@thewordhive NMC claim to be the copyright owners of several songs in the channel. Right now, according to Guy, they are not willing to negotiate. From what I hear, they go on sending claims to YouTube, asking to remove songs from other channels as well.
Can someone translate the meat of this interview? Or even add subtitles? There are non-Hebrew speakers who nevertheless feel invested in Guy Alon's project, and we need to keep up to help.
@thewordhive Orly and Guy(Meroz) are two journalists known for their dedication to fight for right causes. They were very supportive, and promised to join the effort to restore the channel. Guy(Alon) explained the conflict with NMC- the record company who's complaints caused the termination of the channel. He and Ruchama Raz (Israeli singer) explained the importance of the channel for the preservation of classical Hebrew songs.
