  • Now deathwing is refered to as Neltharion guardian of the deep parts of the Earth, the earthwarden. Now if you think that the Old Gods were jailed in the "deep" parts of the earth, one could assume that although he is "corrupted" he still is their jailer, and maybe the only one that can release/bring them to the surface. So actually defeating the only aspect able of releasing the old ones from their prison , it could justify that the aspects mission is finally complete...

  • I am under the impression that actually the gap in the lore as far as Aszhara and The Old ones connection is concerned, was lost because the Vash'jir raid was taken out...You would fight Aszhara and the "great" Old God in an Ulduar like raid...

  • my imagination

Why do alliance and horde get back to fighting? Garrosh.

Next Warchief-Baine as Garrosh will have a backlash from the other horde races and he goes into exile.

N'Zth will be the big boss in MoP.his plan was-throw DW as a bait to weaken the aspects so that he can extinguish/harvest their powers on pandaria-only place he can do that apparently(we were there as the pandas say-it was there that the aspects were created by the titans). How could he take over if aspects were still alive?

  • I really liked this video btw, please make more theorycrafts :)

  • IMO, I think mists of pandaria is a big joke by blizzard, and in the middle (or end), theres going to be a big twist with something like Sargeros( dunno how to spell :p ) or an old god!

  • In fairness, in real life, things like that do happen. For example, at the end of WW2 what happened? The Soviets and the US went to (cold) war. Not quite the same, but still.

  • "Caverns of time is now closed" that had me crying lol

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFUCK AGGGGGGRRAAA!!!!

  • One thing that would make most sense about the dragon aspects losing their powers and tie them together with the expansion and Nozdurmu becoming the leader of the infinite dragonflight would be that the dragon aspects will give out "bounties" or rewards if the mortals/leaders of the mortals retrieves items that can power up the dragons again (since we are apparently stronger now than the dragonflights), which would also show that Alliance & Horde isn't all "100%" pure good and why we fight.

  • The thing about norzdurmu and time is that time is not linear it branches off based on every different choices ppl make. so it could be that he saw all the different time ways and saw that it could end even worse. time travel and time abilities are a bitch.

  • The real end will come when Chuck Norris says so.

  • @nolesNsaints Two expansion after. Chuck Norris: Ok I´m level 100 we can end this game.

  • I think the Aspects have decided that the mortal races are now powerful enough to take care of themselves. We’re the ones killing Old Gods, the Lich King, and two Dragon aspects (the first one on our own). The dragons at this point are finding themselves serving more as advisors to the more capable mortals. Also (!!!) Deathwing never relinquished his powers as the Earth Warden, which means that another black dragon is going to inherit them. And Wrathion is the only black dragon left ON Azeroth.

  • and then the titans created Starcraft....

  • @kingduke102 Grats on first comment.

  • Dear Blizzard wow stopped being fun 2011. I hate spaceshits so go and fucking make Warcraft 4! PLEASE ILL PAY 100000$

  • Go ahead, remove the best aspect of lore in the game and add Pandaren!!! GJ BLIZZ

  • I only see one flaw, when Rhonin destroyed the Demon Soul the aspects got back their full powers. Other than, it was a great discussion and I liked listening to t. Thanks Jesse and Pride!

  • I see only PANDAS.....

  • Thank you for putting this together. This whole cata ending has me confused, mad, and irritated. I stopped playing WoW two years ago but I have followed the series since warcraft 2 so I care about the series. Unfortunately, with that weak ending I just want nothing to do with the game. I would actually prefer the Azeroth get messed up by Sargares now just have him wreck everything. Heck I would actually pay to be Sargares and go into Azeroth and wreck everything then the end at this point.

  • I left wow for awhile due to cata cause it didn't make sense to go from cata story, to BC, then wrath, then back to cata. I was glad to see someone else trying to make sense of Blizzard's poor story.

  • @MrZincosti Exactly same story here.

  • It could be.. that Thrall eventually falls to madness, like Deathwing! And then Aggra and Thrall's baby have to assist a 25 man raid to take him down!!

  • I think people just misinterpreted what Alexstraza said.

All she said was that they were mortal.

I'm sure they still have their dragon forms and some of their powers

They just can't live, well forever anymore

Being mortal does not = completely powerless.

  • @OcoryustheBold Ya....for real your char is supposedly mortal yet can take down immortal beings.

  • I think instead they meant that they finished what they started, not so much as "they fulfilled their purpose."

  • so I don't know much about the lore but I know the LK beat Deathwing once, how in the hell did he manage that?

  • @dlj3cs2 Lol wtf??? Oh no he didn't i dont even play this game anymore but i most certainly know thats not true because ive played warcraft since orcs and humans-.

  • @LeaugeOfBoxes I dont play this game either lol but I heard he did from a friend of mine who played the original Warcrafts,I guess he was just screwing with me.

  • I don't wanna be a douche bu.. The titans didn't create dragons as far as I know, they existed, and they just gave them their powers.

  • In Twilight of the Aspects by Christie Golden Thrall went on a journey throughout the various Timelines and in one he was lured into a false timeline where to rescue Nozdormu he had to figure out how to fix this false timeline and make it true. Nozdormu then told him that his job was to do essentialy that keep the timelines true and he also told him that there is only one and could only be one true timeline. Murozond's End Time as it is referred to was part of a false timeline.

  • something that pisses me off about every expansion is that even though everyone calls us wow players champions , heroes , etc.. yet when a new expansion comes back we're back to doing meaningless quests that involve sticking our hands in giant shit piles and retrieving some flower. Makes me feel more like some ones's bitch then a hero

  • @thekingof300 pffft.

  • and thats why i hate MoP expansion... its not even cause they're pandas its cause they're so irrelevant

  • @thekingof300 well in all honesty you dont know, the pandarians may have a old god device that lets mortals slay immortals, or even titans, idk just a thought, remember you dont know all about MoP there could be a suprise or 2 ;)

  • Have you ever concidered that the Old Gods are the good ones and the Titans are the bad ones?

  • The Dragon's purpose is to power level mortals to max.

Why do the Titans want the mortals at max? Well, that is to be answered in another expansion or Warcraft IV.

  • and to add if you look at thralls title in the dragon soul fight thrall is the earth warden deathwings old title

  • blizzard is doing the same thing the Magic:The gathering, back with kamigawa, and mirrodon. they nearly finished a stormline then. took a break from there normal story. and then they went full string with the distruction of there world

  • I think we stopped Murozond and prevented the infinite flight from ever being created. Murozond was trying to prevent Nozdormu from becoming mortal (and thus dying). That doesn't mess up history because the infinite dragon flight was never successful in changing history.

The only thing that messes up that theory is what Nozdormu says: " Still, in the future, I will... fall to madness... ...The cycle will repeat"

Although what happened to the powered up demon soul in the past? Where did it go?

  • WOTLK was the best expansion lore-wise in my opinion. I still think 4.3 is really cool, but I guess if you dig into it and over-analyze it, then you find too many plot holes to fathom.

  • someone on the planet, a man in a red shirt is raging

  • It would be cool if the end of Pandaria would bring about the final expansion that completes the Warcraft storyline. Although the point of Pandaria isn't pandas, it's PvP. After all, the whole idea of Warcraft was originally war. This whole mishmash epic history was just a side dish until WoW made it the focus.

  • And then you know that the well of eternity instance completely defies the lore.. So the wow history is pretty much screwed up at this point.

  • @wolfsword69master Its really not... People are just being idiots and do not even know the meaning of alternate timelines. Well of Eternity is in the book and the bit that is without Rhonin etc.

  • @TheEregos Ahhh.... This whole story screws up my head xD...

  • i just relized something the end time dugeon the Hour of Twilight has fallen, the hour of Twilight can only happen if all 5 dragon aspects are dead, but Norzmandu was still alive in end time

  • if it was the age of the mortals, then can players still resurrect? It seems if it's the the age of mortals there would be no idea of immortality...

  • if the titans are described as scientists - forever experimenting with ways to create their perfect world. Is it possible that they seeded azeroth with the old gods themselves, and set the dragons as guardians, to see what happens? or Maybe azeroth itself is a vast old god (i have seen this theory put across somewhere very well but i can't remember where) - and the Titans want to see what happens if you try to terraform a world from that.

  • @barefootwanderer THe old gods were on azeroth before the titans came there. TItans showed up and them and folowers fought the old gods luteninats, the elemental lords rag, therazane etc. Titans won and imprisoned old gods benerth the surface since all the beings were now flesh. Dragons put there to guard the world etc.

  • "Uh...uh, did I mention I have a plushy Creeper?"

  • as big as blizzard is i dont think they could have juggled heart of the storm D3 warcraft 4 and a wow expo at the same time which is basically what they are saying they should have done near the end. its a fine idea i just dont think they could have managed that. oh and their new mmo in there i forgot about that. basically i think they are spread to thin atm sumthing is gonna suffer is the bottom line. tragic but thts my thought.

  • IMA WIGGLING!

  • chris metzen messed up?

  • Explain how if ultraxion does a twilight eruption , and say we havent killed dw yet, why do the immortal aspects die?

  • The dragon aspects werent created to defend the world from one of themselves. They were created to defend the world until the mortal races could defend it by themselves. The titans didnt know deathwing would go nuts because as far as they knew the old gods were locked away for good and wouldnt be able to influence anything on azeroth, but the titans were wrong

  • i think what you're all saying about horde and ally fighting and forgotten about the old gods is an build-up, and in an expansion itll be just like when the dartk portal apeared, horde and ally fighting and out of all the sudden the old gods appear saying: have you forgotten us? with the aspect powerless, nothing has remained to stop us and that will be an expansion

  • @SporeRider92 I think, this could very well fit together - who will start the hour of twilight? The mightiest creature the Old gods could corrupt. Who would be the mightiest creature for the Old gods to corrupt? An aspect - in this case, Deathwing. It could very well have been any of the other aspects instead - I guess, Neltharion only had bad luck that he was established as the earth warden - closest to the Old gods, you could say.

  • Know what I miss about Warcraft? Warcraft 3's epic cut scenes. How I miss them...

  • I believe what the aspects mean is, They were made to protect Azeroth and Life on it, and they did it, by defeating Deathwing.

  • I don't necessarily think the titans knew one of them would of been corrupted. The old gods corrupted Deathwing, and he became their instrument. And regarding when they lose their powers and Nozdurmu says that it is inveitable that he will become the leader of the infinite dragonflight. Could it be that when you talk to him after you kill him he says "I will fall to maddness, and the cycle will repeat." that you broke the cycle when you killed Deathwing?

  • @dabombslappy see now, the titans gave the aspects their powers, now, what if, lets say, the titan that gave nozdormu his power had the same time based powers as nozdormu? that means that specific titan knew that this would happen, simply because the titan can see into the future like nozdormu can

now, the titans experiment with different worlds for the perfect one right? what if they thought "hey, can this world survive near death?" thats my theory..ish thing. :D

  • @dabombslappy god damn shut up you fucking nerd

  • @dabombslappy well i mean ok, lets say you didnt kill deathwind, i doubt the world would have been together long enough for him to actualy become insane, also are the old gods more powerfull than the titans? i doubt it but you never know.

  • @limitless271 Lets say it like this:

The surviving Old Gods(3-5 of them are alive) after their war with the Titans are still a GALACTIC threat. They are, apparantly, smarter, far, far more devius than them.

  • @YouCalledForTheDoc is the fight with the olg gods and titans the war of the ancients books b/c im going to get thos ein a month or two

  • @limitless271 We know nothing about that war except that the Titans killed some Old Gods but the Gods essentially won due to them bonding with Azeroth thus ensuring their continued survival. Since that "war" no Old God has died and 1 Titan and 1 Aspect(2 if you count Malygos) have fallen to their side. They are WINNING!

Yes, I am a Lore nerd.

  • the story behind mists of pandaria is simple: deathwing's dead, thrall's gone, meanwhile garrosh is still warchief, and he's starting a war with the alliance, while all of eastern kingdom's and kalimdor's resources are drained, they set sail in search of new supplies, and what do they find? pandaria, unspoiled by war pandarens have rarely seen outsiders, ally and horde drag pandaren's into war and make them fight eachother, in this expansion ally and horde are the evil.

  • i think why the aspects lost their power becuz their mission is complete while there are still old gods, is because the aspects aren't supposed to stop the old gods, the mortals are, the aspects only needed to stop one of their own in destroying the world because only one of his own could kill deathwing, but the old gods is something the mortals have to face for themselfes, and that it's the titan's test or something, that if we pass that test we get like superpowers from the titans as gift

  • Did i mention i have a fleshy creeper? LOL

  • There is supposed to be a panderan living near the dwarves home land he could be a possible spirit thrall noticed beside magni

  • now we get ready to play as pandas :D

  • WAIT! I just got this thought poped in my head. Could it be, that since the aspects are serverly weakened and there're still great evils out there, the dragons need to get their powers back, and there's something in Pandaria would help them do so? Blizz screwed up big time on this one, but that's the best way out I can think for this atm. Btw, I think I recalled that when Dragon Soul was destroyed (in Night of Dragon?) the aspects get their powers back, why can't they just blow this one up?

  • @42:30 Hahaha, alright, I give up. This can be /my/ calm before the storm because there's no way in hell that I'm gonna play a panda expansion. Tell me how Pandaria goes. xD

I'm taking a break with this expansion... lol

I love the meditating part--that was cute.

You guys made my night. GG. Goodnight. :)

  • @35:15

    THAT IS SO TRUE. AHAHAHA!

  • well i think Med'an was trainning to increase his powers when he finally apears in-game he will say where he was and ya patch 4.4 lead up

  • @1:06:33 what your saying kinda has the same resault as in regular WOW but i do like the idea of any of those big events you hear about that you go do just for that they should make some RTS for them

  • @1:02:19 bet once Blizz anounces WC4 many players reaction "make a new WOW expansion instead" i think WC4 will be for after we beat Sargeas i want it to be based on the factions we know and new factions that are on an Island that is in the middle of the vile and forbiden sea

  • @44:11 i think why they went with Pandaria is that they wanted MOP expansion to be around the war so needed something big enough that they couldn't just have it as a patch but small eneough that it wouldn't need that much pve storyline to evolve

  • ok @26:20 you were saying thats what they did in regular WOW well so many people are going on how that was better, as well there were other Dragonflights than those top 5 mabey one of them went to Pandaria and the other former aspects will go there to learn what's best for there flight or that flght will rise up to strike the other flight because they have gotten weaker

  • ok i am @15:09 still will keep watching but had to stop and comment that there for end time is one of many futures and the events we do may cause or change it from big to small there still might be away to get his power back using the dragonsoul we don't know what will happen.

  • After the cinematic you can talk to nozdormu:

"with the loss of my power the dragon soul has returned to it's original place in time"

    Just sayin'...

  • I agree entirley with Jesse right here, the lore has gone to shit in WoW. They dont actually give a damn what they did before and they sure as hell dont care what will happen in 10 years time. Because Metzen, is a poor lore writer and needs to be removed, replaced and given a far better writing team, with consistancy and understanding of the damned lore that metzen fucked up royally.

  • It would be interesting if blizz took the idea of "there being a device on pandarea to the world of the titans"(kinda like the first book of narnia where there are multiple pools to different worlds); and having the games wow and the new project "Titan" actually being part of the same world. (Titans made both worlds to see how they would end up ) just an idea:)

  • @OMFGcata to the whole why would alliance and horde fight in mists there is a confimed patch 4.4 it will bridge the gap between cata and mop it has aslo been confirmed that coz garrosh is a massive douche that he will attack and burn down theramore isle probably because its fairly close to durotar which coz varian also being a massive douche will retaliate which will eventually cause the war leading into pandaria when they discover it

  • @boyscyphor yes because not being a Douche means telling your troops to not attack the enemy stronghold, and to not retaliate is also consideerd not being a douche oh wait that just means your a bad war leader

  • WEEEZAAAA FREEEEEE!

  • Likes*

  • In the book Day of the Dragon its told that the aspects get their powers back when Rhonin or what ever that dude was called breaks the Demon Soul. So The aspects should have been atleast almost at full power before they gave up their powers. And also am I the only one who lukee Deathwing? Guess I'm kinda weird like that, always rooting for the badass villains=D

  • the whole thing is about taking all the powerful and magical beings out of the world and just leaving behind ordinary mortals and then theres no more story, end of warcraft. same as star wars the whole point of "restoring the balance" is to end up with no jedi no sith no force and then nothing but normal ppl and balance is restored. same concept here

  • I just finished the deathwing fight and when you talk to nozdormu, he says "Now that ive lost the sands of time, the dragon soul has returned to its original time" (not word by word, i forgot to write it down). Is that important?

  • Even so, without his full power, if the infinite dragonflight comes to him and offers him power from his mortality, that's another way he can become Murozond, just an instant thought off the top of my head.

  • NOZDORMU HAD ALREADY CREATED THE ALTERNATIVE TIMELINE...

  • "Now living outside of time, Murozond was once the great Dragon Aspect Nozdormu the Timeless One. After the titans showed him his own death, the tormented Nozdormu was tricked by the Old Gods into trying to subvert his mortality. As a result, Nozdormu shattered the timeways and created the infinite dragonflight... jeopardizing the very future of Azeroth.." Murozond is only Nozdormu from a different timeline which he created when he was corrupted, the bronze flight has always been this way.

  • There's no logical reason behind this - It's seriously a total rep con of the entire point the the dragons had to be. Unless the titans had a direct involvement in the demise of deathwing and watched over the demise of deathwing, this doesn't make sense.

  • @JohnnyFalIout

    "Retcon".

  • ok here is my speculation, yes pretty much everyone on our side is mortal now, so anyone in azeroth with common sense can see that we are f***ed, so what if pandaria had a old god artifact or watever that gave mortals the power to slay the immortal? solves most problems, except nazdormus problem.

  • "Today's victory belongs to all who stood against the shadow." You are Azeroth's true guardians."

The dragon aspects are immortal beings put here by the titans as Azeroth's guardians.

The dragons may not have necessarily lost their powers but they are no longer immortal. They can't be guardians if they will eventually die.

Its up to us to defend our world and not have to rely on deus ex machina dragons.

What about the old gods or Sargeras?

    I dont know

    We will have to wait

  • I guess Thrall didn't go super Saiyen, unfortunate.

  • jesse reaktion for this patch is like the hole expasion for me...

  • Didn't they say there was new life? so maybe there's new dragon aspects or guardians?

  • If the titans made the aspects to control the old gods and the aspects lost their powers with the old gods still around, perhaps they were actually meaning that a titan was back? but then "the age of mortals"? idk, hopefully blizzard isn't just doing crack

  • "When the Cataclysm struck Azeroth, it disrupted the cloaking mechanism that kept this terrace hidden. At that point, it was only a matter of time until the intelligent races discovered me here. This was a scenario that, quite honestly, we did not foresee." - Nablya the Watcher. So, uh, woops.

  • they did complete there purpose they saved the world from being destroyed even if it ment one of their own was cause? just my guess

  • The Dragon Aspect's job was to prevent the hour of twilight, i think its somewhere in The Twilight of the Aspects book.

  • What about the Naaru; A'dal, G'eras, Xiri and D'ore? How do they fit in post Cata now? They are still around, well some of them.

  • Or the titans don't know the future or else they wouldn't have to experiment. so maybe the aspects where just a failsafe. If anything went wrong.

  • The dragon aspects are not the titans so maybe the dragon aspects think their purpose is done because they lost their powers and so think they can't do anything anymore. But maybe their purpose isn't done but they are just depressed.

  • "Oooh, Imma wigg-elin'!"

    XD

  • Wibbly Wobbly Timely Wimely

  • The second you introduce time travel into virtually any setting, it pretty much goes to the shitter - writers generally don't tend to be able to account for all the consequences.

  • Haha Definitely read "Dragon Soul Patch" and I think a Dragon with a soul patch would be silly indeed

  • Don't look for any purpose in this one. Blizzard sure isn't.

  • This is way I like wrath more then cata. Wrath was start forwarded not this what the hell is going on bull!@#$

  • Stop playing now... send Blizzard a message... end their seven year reign of terror!

  • am I the only one imagining Blizzard just going:" we could have WHAT!?"

  • @OMFGcata also guys, you yourselves said that the titans are like scientists of the universe and you said, that for the titans every planet is an experiment with the ultimate goal of creating the perfect world, right? i don't really know if this is true but let's just say that azeroth is one of the "elder worlds" ok? then it could be that azeroth is a world in the "early development stages" and clearly not without it's flaws! i mean even the titans must have been inexperienced once!

  • I like how pride talks about the 7th legion, But i just want to point out that no alliance in the final cutscene

  • @tgztoast well theres not really any horde, i know thrall was the leader of the horde but he left the horde and joined the earthern ring, but i understand your point, there are no alliance races :(

  • Deathwing was to ez in raid finder

  • @osse9494 /facepalm. Thats the point of raid finder moron. Oh, and please tell me how it makes the game easier for noobs because, again, thats the point of raid finder.

  • I'm not a lore geek so I don't know all of it but... Would it be possible that the mist that covererd pandarian to protect them from the burning legion is made by an old god?

    N'zoth?

Because they say that the emperor of pandarian had to make some kind of dark pact...

Don't know really... Just a theory

  • there are something not needed to be explained or said, like theier "Aincent purpose". the dragon were designed to stop the hour of twilight, who was supossed to be caused by the old gods, only nozdormu did, the titans foresaw this happening, and therefore is your answer. if the titans gave nozdormu the power to gaurd/control/travel/see/foresee through time, i bet they could see that too.

  • i feel like the first fifteen minuets can be refuted by asking if you honestly believe that the titan's who have the ability to GRANT dominion over time do not have a contingency for the aspect losing there power, like on some mist-hiden ten thousand year old island. jus' sayin.

  • Jesse and Pride should start their own Podcast, I'd subscribe.

  • If you ask me, Cataclysm is the end of big WoW stories. The A-team isn't working on WoW anymore and we're not going to see major changes to Warcraft until the next game comes around.

  • lol, i love how this conversation ended just like cataclysm...abrubtly and dissapointingly...

  • jesse:"we might have to end this right now..."

me: *looks at timer* "hmm, oh well"

  • I think it may be two different sections of history that is determined by whether or not you retrieve the dragon soul....

  • Lolololololololololol enjoy pandas. Thank god I quit before this trash was talked about.

  • The dragon aspects purpose was to ensure the protection of the world, the mortals (us) have protected the world from many foes, and now we even protected it from an enemy stronger then the aspects themselves. so they're purpose is over, as the mortals can protect the world hence "the time of the mortals". thats what I thought anyways.

  • @FlickWindrunner Sounds believable. But, still...ending was a bit disappointing either way...

  • Comment removed

  • C'thun is dead. He was being resurrected by Cho'gall, which is why his body is like that, then Medan used the power of the New Council Of Tirisfal to collapse the temple on top of C'thun's body. Just pointing that out so you can stop saying that C'thun is alive.

  • NERD BATTLE 2011....PART 3.14!

  • I noticed you think the force IS mediclorians... In fact the force is not mediclorians, but mediclorians thrive in force sensitive beings. Just wanted to correct that.

  • The Panthion might turn up at some point..there might be new leaders of the dragonflight too...

  • Weird, the last day I played Wow, was the day Skyrim was released.

  • Just wanna clarify about vanilla. The storylines of brd, lbrs, ubrs molten core, bwl and onyxia, as well as all the zone quests in and around redridge, burning steppes, swamp of sorrows and so on, all add up to one overarching theme and story plot. Similarly, from the first time you are intro'd to the argent crusade, in bfd to strat/scholo and epl/wpl all led up to naxx... its just aq that was a little out of place

  • Old god is revealed and so neptulon or whatever happenes gets you to pandaria.

  • I just thought of something. What if in patch 4.4 the continue the neptulon story and there will be the final raid in cataclysm. Remember in I think either the C,thun or yogg saron, one of them said that underneath the darkest depths of the sea lies the true evil. Could that possibly be N,zoth and in that raid the

  • Did anyone listen to this whole thing, cause i did and....damn......this is some good shit

  • @roflcopterdustin hell this is wat convinced me to ask for a lore book for christmas XD

  • @LucyxDeluxe that is exactly the way it is described by blizzard. it is Azeroth without humanoids. other than that it is an exact duplicate of azeroth minus any buildings built by the different humanoid races.

the emerald dream would be okay for a 5-man dungeon, but an entire expansion like some of you nutbags are calling for? yeah i want to see nothing but a green tinted screen, and kill boars for an entire year.

  • So Thrall is Captain Planet now?

  • Funny part is hat Jesse and Pride (and a LOT of people around the internet) put so much thought on the lore of WoW and in the end it means NOTHING! So rally, it is time to stop caring like Blizzard did!

  • I know the answer to all the un-answered questions. It's called they need something to keep people intrested so they can make them wait and play their game to eventually find out.

  • guys, you need to start watching doctor who if you want to learn how time travel works :P Time can be changed, simple as that, you stoped norzdormu from going crazy

  • @TheDevaluation No. We didn't. We killed his future self. Modern nozrormu still eventually goes crazy. And he still eventually gets killed by us.

  • Dragons still have unlimited lifespans, right?

  • @OMFGcata ok on to the second point:

    2. nozdormu said that sooner or later he will FALL TO MADNESS, which means murozond was a friggin' maniac and then said "this is the best end you can possibly imagine!", so let me ask you: can you trust the word of a fucking maniac time dragon of doom?

    3. i think there's some things even nozdormu can't foresee, since he lost about 50% of his powers to the dragon soul this is quite possible. sooo i think even he himself got a bit confused by all this time shit

  • @OMFGcata hey jesse and pride,

i want to clarify some of the time paradox weird stuff you were confuzzled about:

    1. if you have read war of the ancients you know that the food chain looks something like this: "old gods" > "sargeras" > "deathwing" > "dragon aspects", because they said in the books that even sargeras was being used by the "old gods", right? which means that the end of the world where the old gods win HAS TO BE the worst case szenario, right?

  • @KintokiSan I'd actually put sargeras equal to or greater than the old gods. Because he is quite honestly the only known big bad guy who hasn't been manipulated by them at some point. (besides the ones that are connected to sargeras.)

  • @Shredow2 you mean those that were manipulating sargeras in the war of the ancients? cuz there it was clearly stated by malfurion, krasus and i think a bunch of other known personalities that the old gods wanted sargeras to open the portal to azeroth because then they could escape their prison, which i might add they only got into because all the titans worked together to put them in there! they are multiple old gods and sargeras is one titan... nope i don't see how they are equal

  • @KintokiSan It is also stated that if sargeras crosses over into azeroth there would be no hope whatsoever. Its been hinted at that the curroption has made sargeras far stronger than he was as a titan. It is stated that sargeras alone is stronger than the legion in its entirety. As for the old gods manipulating him into opening the portal, its quite possible that sargeras knew about the old gods(in fact its almost certain) and simply didn't care. Because he was just so much more powerful.
