Is this shot with the open back cover? The sound quality seems much better than most other HD hero videos! I don't think I would have risked that when kayaking! ;)

I am very interested in purchasing one of these cameras but i feel like its impossible to get such high end results like u guys do in ur videos. why not just use a $2000 video camera in most of the shots. like i feel like it seems a bit like a scam

Some tips for you: Try to keep the paddle higher up, about shoulder high. The starting point of the paddle stroke should be more forward. Try and lock your elbows. So you paddle with straight arms, this will give you a good view of how you should optimise your style.

This video was indeed shot with the HD HERO. While I am not sure what you mean by "quality," we can guarantee that this was shot with the HD HERO. There are a lot of factors that go into the quality of a video. You may be noticing the contrast of the bright green kayak against the gray surroundings, or the smoothness of the video while kayaking. Lighting conditions, subjects in the FOV, and the type of action will all play a role in video quality.

@ZK818 i think its most likely due to how the videos have been exported, if you notice, on many of the other videos, they arnt as widescreen as this...
