  • @LittleMsFantasy That song is Johann Pachelbels ''Canon in D''

  • whats the song that plays at the end?

  • The song that starts at 18:35, I know it's a classic by Mozart or something but what is it called?

  • This whole video is gorgeous.

  • "one additional UUAAAH"

    i was mesmerized

  • The music in the beginning is beautiful.

  • Vangelis.

  • @Silentsister Thanks

  • Wish i could have met this man, but i was a youngin when he died , Love his enthusiasm and the command of his voice.

  • carl has a dope ship

  • Too much turkey and tinsel, need to be washed down...

  • The way Carl Sagan speaks is what inspired me to keep going, and learning as much as possible. Although he might not be with us anymore the way he thought and ideas are what lives on within us. He is still alive in each and everyone of us.

  • ohh :( its close to an end....feel sad. carls is so wise -- we need more people like him on earth.

  • MUST..... READ..... EVERYTHING...,

  • Thank you, Carl Sagan. Rest in peace.

  • One additional OOOAAARGH a month!

  • this is my favourite episode too! many have said it but what an amazing human being. magic books eh... :)

rest in peace Dr Sagan... I will never forget you and this message of hope and understanding as long as I live. And I will try to protect the World that you loved.

    love, creativity and reason forever.

  • And the library evolved into the internet.

  • Makes me wanna buy a book.

  • its Wonderfull ... thank you for your up loading.

  • P.S. The song at the end of the episode (Valya Balkanska - Izlel e Delyo Haydutin) is taken from the Bulgarian folklore (Eastern Europe, The Balkan peninsula).

This song is one of the very few picked by C.Sagan and Ann Druyan to travel into the interstellar space.

  • love the way he talks, rest in peace carl

  • great stuff carl but the intonation in your speech is just mad!

  • @hoobie0007 his intonation is such because he intended for all his messages to be understood by all the amebas watching it.

C.Sagan was the greatest communicator of science in the whole human history.

His explanations so clear and his messages so deep..

These series were produced in the early 80s and until now I have not found a single science production of such clarity, so informative and so much in touch with real life issues.

Carl Sagan was simply ahead of his time. RIP and RESPECT !!!

  • Whoop Oahhhh Whooop Oahhhhhh

  • This is my favorite episode

  • I watch these as I fall asleep, but I used to have to hook up my external hard drive to watch them--now I just watch them on here! You're the best for uploading them.

  • I wish Carl Sagan could have seen how computers and technology has advanced since he passed. We miss Carl Sagan

  • I make videos for smart people. If you are smart, and watching Carl Sagan, you will probably enjoy my channel.

  • Eloquent and powerfull, every single one

  • This is some of the best stuff I have ever seen in my entire life.

  • This series is an education - not just in cosmology, but everything!

  • Awesome
