@xXxSno0pDogGxXx Hey, Sh*thead. It was a TEST upload - and the TEST was to see how YouTube processed the raw LUMIX HD video clip. Well, genius, obviously YouTube DIDN'T process the clip properly - has nothing to do with the 'idiot' (me) who uploaded the clip as a TEST - which I made public for everyone to see. I won't waste anymore time explaining anything else to you, since you are just WAY SMARTER than I ever could be. Get off your high horse, pal (or would that really be a low mule).

Here the HD is the aspect ratio but the pixel clarity isn't HD. So youtube messed up the original source vid? I be meaning to find my next digital camera and just checking all the eg.

I uploaded a HD vid via the photoFunStudio but Youtube also ignored the HD part. Time to hit teh googles.

Are you sure you have the right settings? On the REC menu, make sure that picture mode is set to 30fps, 16:9H and aspect ratio 16:9 and then try it agin for future videos, Great qaulity though, I have the same camera.

yeah i did, and all they could say was that something strange have happen.

This video used to be HD in 720p which is amazing quality in such a small window, i mean 720p is a reso i feel comfortable with when i play on my PS3!

but after they added "Watch in HD" function.

ON TZ5 and Sony cams.. The quality went from &fmt=22 to fmt=18 :`(

And thats all they can tell me.

To make it HD again u need to reupload and recommended codec is H.264.

If you choose the camera, I KNOW you'll fall in love with it - particularly in the Lumix' still photography quality. You can't beat Leica optics!

You are correct. It certainly isn't stereo, and the microphone slots are located on the top of the camera where one might put their finger to hold the camera, but considering it's not a true video camera, and just a 'feature', I won't bitch THAT loud.
