  • why do male dancers have such big .... ?

  • Voluntaries is probably my favorite and best example of Glenn Tetley's contemporary dance style. Created for Stuttgart ballet after the death of John Cranko, this breathtaking ballet is the epitome of classicism stretched and twisted by modern sensibilities. Voluntaries is devilishly virtuostic, but angelically graceful. Please someone post the whole ballet!

    P.S. Poulenc's music is extraordinary!

  • I'm dying for this group of dancers all at once onstage! thats huge!

  • this is Stuttgart ballet walk....that s why looks sexy..

  • I wish you could post the whole ballet. I danced it with the National Ballet back in the late '90s (just in the corps) but it is still one of my most favorite ballets to dance. The music is so powerful (especially in the group sections not shown here) and you can just fly across the stage.

The piece was created for Stuttgart ballet by Glen Tetley to commemorate the death of Stuttgart's founding choreographer, John Cranko (Onegin, Shrew, R+J, etc.)
