@conewells it cant run on dvd but if you have downloaded flip share like i did after you uplaod the video to your computer if you put in a dvd that is blank you can then burn a video you made only on a flip to the dvd

when u plug it in to the usb on ur computer a software should come up and there is a button on the software and it automatically uploads to youtube

Only thing I can suggest would be to speak to Pure Digital themselves or the retailer you bought it from. Sounds like either the battery is out or you have corrupted software on it.

No the camera doesn't pause. It only starts and stops. Of course, you can then "stick" those two clips together using basic video editing software if you want...
