Those of us living during his years here on Earth were very fortunate to have shared the world with him. I feel his absence and it isn't good. I'm often ashamed of my species. Given what some of us are much of the time we're lucky to have had a John Lennon at all. He was a beautiful person, an important person, and as I grow and look back at his accomplishments, what he said and what he did, I appreciate him even more, the more I learn the more I realize just how great he was.
