  • DE JUDDN,,,

  • GRÜTZE-- STONK!!! HEHE HÜCKENSACKABRÜCKEN GARBITSCH

  • I´m sorry, the Germans are still obedient to ridiculousness. Stopp - not all of them. Many aren´t fans of Hitler, but the obedience stayed with most of them.

  • @BigDaddyHeavyweight

tschuldigung mich würde mal interessieren wie du zu dieser annahme kommst^^ oder sind das nicht blos stereotypen.....

  • Heil Hitler, Charlie Chaplin SCHTUNK.

  • heil Chaplin!

  • So stupid. And yet Hitler actually liked this movie.

  • @SteinUndStahl666 Did he actually like it or are you just assuming?

  • @heidelberg2000

Well, he watched it twice. So I assume he liked it. Unless he hated it so much that he just had to see it again.

  • ünna stratz mit da ülzensacka flütte - d stratz da stratz! Tomenia mid da grösste flütttten in da welt - en de flüttensacka flüttensack - and deee ulstein mit da wurst. Charles Chaplin wsa genial. Da fletten - unn da Chutten!!!

  • Hitler and co must have been choking with laughter when they saw this scene XD

(yes, he saw it, and the day after, he decided to watch it again :P)

  • @DarkTider He was rather annoyed.....

  • I bet this could've aired back in 1938 and noone would've noticed the difference^^

    *SCHTONK*

  • One of the smartest and funniest scenes in movie history.

    Charlie Chaplin was a genius.

  • Haha, man hat fast selber das Gefühl, der redet deutsch xD

  • LMAO @ "Herr Garbitsch"

Good sense of humor back then!

  • Auch vor 70 Jahren hat kein normaler Mensch so geredet, aber das war halt die Rhetorik Hitlers

  • Absolutely hilarious.

I can't wait to see the full movie.

What a genius Chaplin to bring a message of love and unity in a comedy about the darkest moment in human history.

  • nei nosch toten tighten de beltn!

  • sounds like finnish. no way german. these days german sounds soft. so wie vor 50 jahren spricht doch kein mensch mehr. klingt heute alles viel weicher. sprache verändert sich.

  • It's gibberish intermingled with actual German to make it sound authentic, but still comedic.

  • de wienerschnittzel und de sauerkraut

  • Shtraf loooool

  • en stunken with the world mit seine tomania ....i love it rofl

  • "Eeeh da strapitz hückensätt..." wonderful. Hilarious!

  • great xDD somehow it sounds like german, and some are really german words, but im from germany and...its not xDD

    really funny

  • very funny indeed!... .u all are suckers here!

  • Hilarious!!! 15/10

  • My most favorite Chaplin moment, not to mention my favorite sketch from the movie.

It was this that drove me in to learning German (which, if I was not too lazy, would've spoke it fluently).

    A very funny speech indeed.

  • Das ist wunderbar!

  • Thanks for posting! No matter how many times I see this clip, I bust up laughing. Did you know that actors actually have a term for improvising in this Germanic gibberish? They call it "speaking Dutch". Chaplin is the man for all time for making this movie in 1941 and overtly ridiculing Hitler. "Hannah, can you hear me?"

  • Very funny indeed! Chaplin was a natural born performer.
