Luckily when people are looking for dancers the TALENT always has and always will get noticed. The runners up of this show have always been successful, more so than the winners sometimes. That's always good :)
Brandon definitely should have won- lol I was really upset and had my own silent protest in not watching the following season (lasted until the final 20 were announced- I couldn't hold out) But I am still upset that he didn't win, happy to see that he has gone on to do well regardless tho.

Brandon was always one of my favorites. In fact, he was my favorite. I swear, I was so shocked when he didn't win, but I'm sure he's doing really well in a dancing career now. Brandon should've won that season. He made all of his partners better because of his talent and partnering. He focused his attention on the women he danced with and not on himself.

One of my favorite routines :D Bleah' I miss the old stage better . It has memories from the best seasons , 1-5 and some of the best dancers and choreography I've ever seen in my life .

Although Jeanine deserved to win, she produced very few performances that were up to the calibre that Kayla and Brandon made. In fact, the only stunning routine I could remember for her was her tango and ballroom fusion solo. Kayla and Brandon, on the other hand, both produced magnificent routines week after week. Seeing them dance together was heaven.

I'm crying for the death of season 5 right now.. :(((((( season 6 sucked and season 7 was ok. On season 5 I anticipated every episode, and watched TVoed episodes until the a fresh episode came, for 6 and 7 my mom had to remind me that it was coming on, and I got destracted and went off to take a computer break every 5 minutes.
this was beautiful and this season certainly had some talented dancers but s5 was not the best.
stand out pieces like this were fewer than in previous seasons and there were just not any big personalities or characters. oh well. s5 can rest in peace knowing at least it was better than six. :) imho, it goes s3,2,4,7 (wouldve been higher except for the damn curse haha),1,5,6
I forgot this dance as well. But I gotta say, season 6 was pretty damn amazing as well. Really talented dancers on there. Season 7 isn't so hot right now. I think it's the format. 20 dancers is better than 10 or 11 dancers and all-stars but... Whatever
I sadly forgot about this dance until now. It makes me really sad because this dance is incredible! Brandon is a beast out there on stage and Kayla is a beautiful dancer.
I didn't get to see the first three seasons but i liked season four and five the best. Season six and season seven are just a disappointment. It seems that hardly anyone can actually dance anymore...
@DancexDance545 That's not true . I had a similar case like yours . I started watching the show from season 4 but i eventually watched season 3 too . I don't think much of season 6 and i haven't seen season 7 . But they had some of the best dancers of sytycd like Jakob Karr , Alex Wong and Billy Bell .
Season 5 was the best in my opinion, Jeanine, Kayla, Brandon, Janette, Ade, Jason, Kupono were all exceptional dancers! Any one of then could've won and I'd be happy. I miss seeing all these dancers :(
I saw this cast perform in person and Jeanine was incredible - television didn't do her justice. I loved Kayla - she was my favorite during the show. That being said - all three of them (Brandon, Kayla, Jeanine) are exceptional dancers and when you get to that level of talent, any one of them could have won. They are all three just soooo good. I'm sure we'll hear from all of them in the future.
Ok I understand Brandon being the best guy but Jeanette was the best girl and yed Brandon should have won hands down!!!!! But he still appears on fox, like Glee!!!!!!! He's a back up dancer on a few episodes!!

One of my favorites but Kayla needs some classical ballet training. That arabesque was pretty bad and her limbs are too loose.
I think another reason why Kayla didn't win is because she didn't really change much, whereas Jeanine showed tremendous improvement from the beginning. Not to mention she's not your typical dancer, she has curves. So she makes dancers like me proud, and hell yeah I'm gonna vote for her. But Brandon was mos def. the best guy.
kaylas good alone...but she looks hard to partner..like akward..shes mostly tech though and i think that jeanine had a mix of both and thats why she won..
I LOVE LOVE THEM BOTH! but im happy jeanine won.. but in this dance she looked gigantic next to brandon. :o as in he was short and she looked sooo frekin tall. im just pointing it out cuz it looks kind of funny :D

I sadly forgot about this dance until now. It makes me really sad because this dance is incredible! Brandon is a beast out there on stage and Kayla is a beautiful dancer.

I didn't get to see the first three seasons but i liked season four and five the best. Season six and season seven are just a disappointment. It seems that hardly anyone can actually dance anymore...

@DancexDance545 That's not true . I had a similar case like yours . I started watching the show from season 4 but i eventually watched season 3 too . I don't think much of season 6 and i haven't seen season 7 . But they had some of the best dancers of sytycd like Jakob Karr , Alex Wong and Billy Bell .

Season 5 was the best in my opinion, Jeanine, Kayla, Brandon, Janette, Ade, Jason, Kupono were all exceptional dancers! Any one of then could've won and I'd be happy. I miss seeing all these dancers :(

I saw this cast perform in person and Jeanine was incredible - television didn't do her justice. I loved Kayla - she was my favorite during the show. That being said - all three of them (Brandon, Kayla, Jeanine) are exceptional dancers and when you get to that level of talent, any one of them could have won. They are all three just soooo good. I'm sure we'll hear from all of them in the future.

Ok I understand Brandon being the best guy but Jeanette was the best girl and yed Brandon should have won hands down!!!!! But he still appears on fox, like Glee!!!!!!! He's a back up dancer on a few episodes!!

They both deserved to have won, i just don't understand why they didn't. Especially Brandon, he was amazing, but Kayla was pretty amazing herself. Again I say they both deserved to have won.

One of my favorites but Kayla needs some classical ballet training. That arabesque was pretty bad and her limbs are too loose.
I think another reason why Kayla didn't win is because she didn't really change much, whereas Jeanine showed tremendous improvement from the beginning. Not to mention she's not your typical dancer, she has curves. So she makes dancers like me proud, and hell yeah I'm gonna vote for her. But Brandon was mos def. the best guy.

kaylas good alone...but she looks hard to partner..like akward..shes mostly tech though and i think that jeanine had a mix of both and thats why she won..

I LOVE LOVE THEM BOTH! but im happy jeanine won.. but in this dance she looked gigantic next to brandon. :o as in he was short and she looked sooo frekin tall. im just pointing it out cuz it looks kind of funny :D
