So called fingerprint evidence is more frightening than lie detector tests, because at least you can't be forced to take a lie detector test. But do you know how many people have been exonerated on DNA evidence or some other evidence who had been convicted on fingerprint evidence? A computer doesn't automatically match fingerprints. It may narrow it down to about 50 "possibilities" from what I understand, but then someone has to try to compare prints with their naked eye.
