  • Do any of you realize how many brass 105 shell canisters are buried on the west side of that hill? When we first got there in 67 it was muddy and we threw rocks, empty canisters and anything else we could find to throw in the mud. There's a dump on each side of the battery area. There is also a dead nva buried about 50 feet from the south side dump.

  • Congrats on making it up the hill, were you mad that when you got there everyone had left? LOL Just kidding, I would love to go back to some of my old stomping grounds.

  • I would love to walk those trails again. But this time with a camera. Best wishes for your efforts in Vietnam. Thanks

  • That was a very good video - don't see many of those on TV (and that's a shame)

  • The photos comparing 2008 and 1969 are a great touch. If I remember correctly, on the east end there was a firing range so we could zero in our 16's when on Center. The earthen wall there was to stop the bullets in case a patrol was coming up the Hill.

  • LZ Center November 67 - April 68, B Battery 3RD 82ND Artillery, 105's. I'd love to set foot back on what was my home for 6 months.

  • i agree that water was not there in 70-71

  • Nice vid! Its cool you took some Vet's up there.

  • great video.wish i could go back to center.
