  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I saw "A Clockwork Orange" , "Trainspotting" or "Brazil". Good video though

  • why does everyone have to use the word America when talking about Britain. Hello the war is over we have moved on and were our own nation with our own way of life.

  • Nothing from the last decade or two? That's a shame because a lot of recent work really reflects how great British films still are. Keep up the good work old chaps :)

  • I so wish that the economics of making films purely from the UK would change. I know theres a big British presence in Hollywood, but American films are so boring these days.

I want great writing and not crappy superhero movies.

  • @ProjectLonely Yeah, a totally agreeable opinion. This country holds the greatest craftsmen - we need to concentrate our efforts on this country's output and not sell our souls to the lame generation of Hollywood. There's a lot of great writing, but it isn't being optioned.

  • I tracked it down- it's an old Hitchcock film called " The Ring"

  • Does anyone know the name of the film that shows a woman comforting a man- who is injured or dying- and who seems to be receiving a massage by a pair of hands?( roughly 4:32)

  • Visually you can tell the difference between American and British cinema judging from this montage.

  • This Is England

    best british film ever made

  • @FugWugInAMug Really ? i mean Really ? its brilliant but best :/

  • Whats the last piece of music called from 3min45sec on

  • No 1967 Bedazzled?

  • "Moon", "Sherlock Holmes","In Bruges"...

  • I say chaps makes me Jolly proud to call dear old Blighty ....Home.

  • a lot of great british films... thank you!

  • that was great enjoyed every minute

    well all six at least

how come british film doesnt seem to be getting any better now?

  • Well, there's the James Bond franchise of which the latest was the best, the Harry Potter movies, The latest and best Batman, Batman Begins, Elizabeth -The Golden Age, 28 days & 28 Days Later, Hot Fuzz, Borat, The Queen, Music and Lyrics, one could go on...

  • now i grant you they are all very good films and that the british film is in no dead and i would have to agree with some of those films but can you really say the british film is getiing better?
