@5vi5ion5 it can actually record in 60p but not in full hd. you have to turn it down to 720p @ 60 frames per second. and also have A LOT of light when shooting so the shutter speed does not go below 1\400. try it. i'd love to see the results :)

i don't think 5d is right for slow motion pictures, 7d is more of an adequate tool for twixtor..

but I just can't give up on 1:1 full frame body. I just don't get it. why doesn't canon support 60fps for 5d mark II? I don' think it's technically limited.  They deliberately won't support it, cuz it would put other canon camera products in jeopardy.

Some advice, if you want to make your videos less blurry and choppy during the extreme slow motion. Use 720p or below as you will get at least 60 frames per second. The more frames per second, the better it will look :)

If the raw video is 60fps then yea, it's useful if your actual source is 60fps. I mean, it's just like a videos's resolution. Upscaling a video only makes it worse. And the lowest frame rate which runs smoothly is 23.976 fps, so if you can slow anything down smoothly till the frame rate decreases to 23.976. And as I said it only helps for 60fps cams

@ThePeteton actually on 7D you can make it work a whole lot better, since 7D has 60 frame per second recording. So it'll work a lot better for you all u need is Twixtor plugin for after effects which you can google. ;)
