Fantastic actor, Tim Spall. You young uns should check out Auf Wiedersehen Pet from the '80s and noughties. Great stuff and good acting there all-round, though by the 3rd series, TS was easily the most accomplished of the 7.

Timothy Spall is a very talented actor. I don't think I've ever seen him play a role without taking it to the fullest of his capabilities. I even watch children's movies to see his outstanding performances.

Spall gave the best performance of Fagin that I've certainly ever seen. He fully fleshes out Fagin & makes him completely human, instead of the usual caricature. I've also never seen Spall in a film where his performance didn't stand out, even when he played in minor roles such as in Sweeney Todd. (I don't know why but I have trouble remembering his name!) But seeing his name in a production is an indication that it's probably well worth watching.

True, such wonderful quality broadcasting. And Timothy Spall, who isn't well known in the States is an amazing actor. He has done such wonderful work. I will be watching this one.
