Back when the famous Bear had his reign, they were only that great because Bama was the only school that had the money to allow a coach to give out 150 scholarships which is now illegal btw, the max is 25.Rules were changed, just because Bama had money they could just recruit the whole East coast and pick who they wanted from them to play, while also keeping the players away from other schools
