... for those shiny bright days and even nights with epic adventures, with epic story making with my hands, for everything! Now I must mention THIS FF, for I took every little detail from it, starting with character of the characters, setting, world, finishing with tunes, cutscenes, and so on.

Not only the story is very touching, very deep atmosphere, but it has some great wise meanings on every corner of the dialogues.

Don't know how about you guys, but I'm completely in love with FFVIII.

Video games making, animated movies making, composing, etc. I can go on forever, but I have to make a stop and point up your strongest side - touching people's hearts, no matter which industry is. And of course I have to thank Squaresoft and legendary Nobuo Uematsu (thanks to him I strated to write my own soundtracks). Thank you for that time you gave to me, spending hours in each FF, listening to those magical OSTs, follow characters' storyline...

Laguna and Julia weren't able to get together due to their coincidental circumstances. But, their love transcended with Squall, Laguna's son, and Rinoa, Julia's daughter.

Its one of the most beautiful plots I have ever seen.

The whole scene between Laguna and Julia is one of the most beautiful in the game. I like how they go to her bedroom and he's constantly second-guessing how to act around the woman he likes. They both have an effect on each others lives but due to other factors, they never truly get to be together. I think almost everybody can and will relate to that somehow, even just a little bit.

@AIndoria I agree. I got my first ps1 on christmas, and this was one of the first games i got... I played ff8 first, my first game on it, and nothing has ever compared to it. Nothing will beat the experience I had when i first played final fantasy 8. Let alone the music. There's almost always been 1 or 2 pieces in every final fantasy that was pretty good, but nothing beats the amount of good songs, or just the level of the songs in this game

squall actually has a nice personality people just misinterpret it as him being emo or just a dick, he is actually a sweet loving person but the loss of his "Big sis" hurt him to the point where he wanted to keep people away so he wouldn't ever be hurt by loss again but in the end he softens up and lets rinoa (and eventually everyone else) in. in the ending where squall smiles proves this also

@RyuKaguya In addition, he tried to grow up too fast in order to cope with that loss. Namely that he acted how he thought an adult acts, ending up acting like a child. Compare leg-cramp-afflicted dad: Total dork as he is, but that's why we all love the guy, bec being child-like is what makes him mature. The mentality of someone like Squall is fitting for a soldier but not someone sociable, Laguna's the opposite.
