  • coolest guitar solo ever!!! notice how i didn't use a question mark after ever?

  • young adult <3

  • YOUNG ADULT will bring lots of people here.

  • @MasTriste it so did, that movie's soundtrack were all songs I vaguely remember from my childhood.

  • @MasTriste Brought me here.

  • @MasTriste I will keep your comment at 69 likes. No more. No less.

  • Busque esta cancion por años no sabes loco, la alegria de la ptm que me da, esta cancion para mi era el november rain, gracias papa!!!!!

  • Makes me cry inside myself just remembering the things this band meant to me, and as all those memories will never fade in my soul because as i look around me these days as music is essentially meaningless, I feel a great deal of sympathy towards young people today as music is an education in life itself and its something that has been put deliberately out of their reach. You know what i'm saying here people. Being young today...? No thanks. As pining my hopes on todays music is pointless...G...

  • @TheGmcFilms I agree....but at the same time, our parents would have said the same thing about the music we love compared to what they grew up with :-)

  • sound like ash. or ash sound like them. or they sound similar. like it.

  • if you like this then check out grant lee buffallo and also liz phair - supernova. dinosaur jr. mazzy star, what an amazing time in music.

  • thumbs up if you like Teenage Fanclub "The Concept"

  • brilliant

  • nice^^

  • I love TFC

  • WTW when I type "teenage" the first thing that appears is "teenage dream katy perry"

    Where has music gone?

  • Why is it that 'the Britts' alway make the best U.S. flavoured music?

It goes all the way down to the other end of the spectrum eg. The Cult.

TFC... more of this stuff is desperately needed in todays dank musical environment.

Three amazing singers (since Brendan left) and songwriters.

  • This band together with others of the era as Sugarcubes, Soup Dragons, Dramarama, Primal Scream remind me of the TBS Channel show Night Tracks 1991 when he became only alternative music

  • cool

  • This song was on some promotional compilation tape I had way back in '92. It also had "She's Mad" by David Byrne, a Sugarcubes song, and a cool song by Sarah McLaughlin before she blew up called "Into The Fire." I wore that tape out. Ahh, the college years.

  • the best guitar band of all time, you will never hear guitars played this well, the bass is so funky it hurts, the lead guitar solos are orgasmic, the rhythem is great, vocals melody & harmonies are out of this world, and yes they have three vocalists.

  • I didn't want to hart you... Ohhhh yeahhh........!

  • really the very best thing happened in the 90's...the concept!

  • 初めて聞いたとき胸が痛くなり、歌詞カード見て号泣した。

    Thank you for uploading !

  • Ahhh..how I loves the 90s!

  • Awww...the video cuts out early at the end, and that's the best part!

  • oh WOW, your are a star. loved em. Wheres me tambourine lol. TVM

  • "I didn't want to hurt you (oh yeah)" great duality.

  • サマソニでみたけど老けてたなぁ

  • First got into the Fannies in the Summer of 1990, after hearing Everything Flows. Think Creation were responsible for 2 of the best albums of the early 90's in Bandwagonesque & Screamadelica.

  • Man u r on the money!

  • This version has a lot chopped off from the end ( i think 2-3 minutes more). Although this is the core song there is some further variations on the 'oh yeah'.

  • absolutely correct. you are thinking about the album version which is some 6 minutes long

  • 現代においても これ名曲

  • べつに。

  • @suijigai

    英文,操妈者!

  • The greatest OH YEAHs i've heard

    (in love with this tune)

  • Anyone catch the tour with Uncle Tupelo in '92? Oh man..

  • Fuck yeah.

When morning comes twice a day or not at all.

  • Neil Young/Crazy Horse/Big Star deluxe.

  • I lived on this album 10 years ago...it provided me with sustenance. Man...it still sounds good!

  • Psh - check your calendar. Can you believe this album is...wow...18 years old???

    1991-92

    WOW.

  • Tune.......downstairs at the Punch and Judy.......Yehman

  • cuantos recuerdos de juventud...chidisima rola

  • Where's the end of this song. It's awesome.

  • This song reminds me a lot of The Rain Parade. Great stuff.

  • Brighton 1992... great days. the Underground Club - they played Teenage Fanclub loads - is it still there?

  • I can never seem to explain to people why "The Concept" is such a killer tune. Which either means I'm insane, or nobody else understands fantastic music. I vote for Choice 2. :)

  • Why not choice 3, it just is a killer tune.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah on the surface it seems so simple, almost like a parody of pop music lyrics. But listen to it a couple of times and you start singing along emphatically

  • FUCK THE YOUTUBE POLICE!

  • They got to come back to Brazil

  • One of the greatest songs from the 90's from one of the greatest albums of the 90's from one of the greatest bands of...

    you get the picture!!!

  • @JasonTryp Its always nice to see a comment from someone who makes a bunch of sense. I really dig what you wrote hear my friend and I agree with you 100%. I was part time deejaying at Stonehill College in Massachusetts and I used to open my shows with this song all the time. Vampire Weekend and Silversun Pickups have impressed me somewhat lately but I still miss the 70's, 80's and 90's. Thanks for your comment JasonTryp,

    Paneeks/Boston

  • @JasonTryp Yeah… Fuck Nirvana… THIS is the best part of the 90's

  • @pfingstrose

Why 'fuck Nirvana', I like both. They both played in Reading 1992 festival, watch the live videos both are awesome... Nirvana's performance is uNdeniable freaking awesome.

  • A brilliant song from the album Bandwagonesque. The guitar lead at 2:00 is too beautiful for words.

  • This album reminds me of buying x4 cans of bitter before going to th Ship Ashore in Birmingham/ Memoirs of K Cass

  • Bandwaginesque is a formidable album ,one of my all time favourite albums. Great tune.

  • Fuck, forgot how good this record was. Gonna go listen to it now.

  • fuck the youtube police

  • ok Green Day's "When September Ends" is informed by this song! compare the two, and you will see ...

  • Every popular band from the '90s owes Teenage Fanclub...at least a sixpack! :)

  • this song makes me melt...and im a striaght guy.

  • same here man

  • ah teenage fanclub...awesome track..the second solo when mtv fades it out is the best part too. by far

  • souvenir, souvenirs :)

  • awesome but i still like the live versions of this song better

  • especially the solo! it rips in the live versions

  • i know. its just more powerful live. and why do mtv have to cut the original songs? its so stupid when you can see and hear that the song continues but it just fades away

  • buenisimo

  • Puta te pasaste con este vid, comienzos de los 90, de la csm. Thanx!
