Paralyzed dog Leo with coonhound disease symptoms water therapy

Leo was completely paralysed for 4 months due to an overdose of spot-on tick/flea treatment. Vets were unable to do much to help him. We started this water therapy daily in the bathtub then we moved to a friends pool, finally using the beach when his body was a bit stronger. He still couldn't stand/walk. Using his vest, the beach allowed him to walk in the shallows with sand underfoot while the water held up his bodyweight. This therapy got him up walking on his own again. He now runs/jumps too
