Thanks! Hopefully, there will be more videos soon. I've been busy with making more 3D stuff. I also looked at using two other engines/languages: Sphere and BlitzMax. I'm still toying with which I should use. :)
The graphics are all rendered in a program called Poser and saved as 2D PNG frames. I then create a normal sprite character that I can import into RPG Maker from those frames.
The backgrounds are done the same way but I do a series of renders to isolate the portions that need to allow sprites to walk "under" them. Then I create a tilemap from those. It's a long process but fairly easy to do.
Thanks! That's my next step. I'm looking at adding pixel movement with 8-directions and better animation. Also, making the door open and close, if possible. :) Thanks again.
looks great man, are you using more than 4 frames per movement? if so , how are you doing it?

You should really look into a script for 8-Way Movement. It would do this already great looking title wonders.
