  • this train is beautifull. i wanna bomb it >.<

  • I get off here everyday :P

  • Hey gday mate... I'm a railfan from Australia... please correct me if I'm wrong, but outside the Manhattan area, are the subway lines totally elevated on viaducts throughout the suburbs...?

  • @MrKRH74 no , outside manhattan there are many underground stations

in the bronx, queens and brooklyn.

  • @mtanyc Righto then, thanks for that... our cities here have no subways or any "metro" lines as such, just mainline commuter trains throughout the suburbs (overhead wiring, mainline signalling, etc)... our commuter lines run metro-like underground services in the downtown areas, but then surface in the inner suburbs then continue on to nearby towns as part of the state-wide rail system..

  • In Boston it's mbta not mta

  • the A train of the late late 70,s were like rockets bring them back

  • and what does "MTA" mean?

  • @XTwittyX

    Metropolitan Transit Authority

    MTA

  • @XTwittyX

    Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

  • big apple.... i live in fucking poland, fucking "Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski" city, nyc is 10x bigger than this shit, omfg, enjoy the life because u live in NYC, not fucking poland on the country.

  • why does this have 90k views..?

  • We need something like this in L.A. under Wilshire Blvd from Downtown L.A. to Santa Monica.

  • i will miss the R44

  • @richy2244 hell yeah,faster

  • Love the R-68. The best ride. The new so called "smart car" seem to look like THE RED BIRDS.

  • R44 the best heavy train in New York City

  • its cool but the r68 is actually the most heaviest car in the nyc subway

  • lol. yay this is my stop. i always catch the far rock train from there. lol

  • The A should go to Avenue U between East 16 Street and East 15 street in Brooklyn

  • @MrSubwayTrainMan isn't there a Q train already?

  • @MrSubwayTrainMan Oh my god. This guy is so retarded.Like seriously look at everything he says.It sound wrong

  • @MrSubwayTrainMan it would be nice to extend the A train from Lefferts Blvd to Jamaica (where the E, J, and Z terminate). If not extend the A line, maybe a new bus route should be developed.

  • Ever see an R44 A train at the Brighton Beach B/Q station

  • Someone make a video of an R44 A train at the Brighton Beach B/Q station

  • will there be a video of an R44 A train at the Brighton Beach B/Q station

  • my cousin use to live right next to the east side of the station entrance of that station on 97th street

  • the A train needs 10 train cars cuz its getting crowded when its going to 207st when it first arrives in manhattan

  • its an R44!

  • wat iz the point of this

  • If you don't know what the point is, why do you even comment?

  • cuz i wanted to know wat da fuck the point of diz

  • Well, the point is that ever since the new york subway is so popular, then people who are train fans(including me) make videos of it.

  • o so its lyke a new york thing im from cali

  • Yeah, that's a Ny thing.

  • did u eve graff dem trains

  • Nope.

  • I lived in ny

but im currently living in ny

ny has trains and it a mass trnsportation

    while california doesen't except bart

  • Bart is the only OK transportation in Cali. The LA transportation Sux! im from Boston.

  • yea man thats nyc thing!!

  • love the sound right before the doors close. that little jingle thing.

  • 8 cars

  • they need 2 get rid of this trian seriously

  • R44s pass gas louder than any other type.

  • o_O wtf

  • i disagree DOMINICANRANKS. the newer models are smaller in size. i've ridden them plenty of timed during the peak of rush hours and it seems to be more crowded than if i were to ride on an R32 or R44. The new R160s aint going on the A line, at least anytime soon.

  • the R44, R46, R68/R68A are all 75 feet long. The R32, R38, R40/R40M, R42, R143, and R160A/R160B's are 60 feet long.

The 75 foot trains have eight cars, and the 60 foot trains have 10 cars, making a 600 foot train. Except on the J, Z, L and M lines where they use 8 60 foot cars making it 480 feet.

The R110B/R131 and the BMT standards were 67 feet long.

  • dude this is the IND, not all 3 of them.

  • Look at the pretty blue sky and the white puffy clouds. Isn't that nice?

  • Haha, yeah. I actually is.

  • we have only small cars (subway trains and automobiles)

  • Yes, i am Dutch, real!!

    Whatch to my profile

  • Im dutch...

  • Cool. I'd ride that.

  • wtf y inst that express?

  • The A runs local in Queens, and express in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

  • Wow, I live like 2 blocks away from there :D

  • ha! i live a few blocks away too. makes it easier to go to school but its always packed and depressing

  • I know, or it's an even worse trek up to Jamaica to take the J.

  • once,I went on an a train,it was fricking fast!!.Me and my mother almost fell out of our chairs.

  • i love to ride the A train

  • It's clean???

  • WTF SO LONG TRAIN ??????

  • i love ridin on those r44 A trains

  • The A train is not part of the IRT. It is on the IND. Look at your Tags

  • I hate A train

  • the old model trains are really horrible, and when it brakes nd turns, da noise can kill ur eardrums... but da only best thing it has on the newer models is dat these have a lot of space...

  • yo this is ma train and ma stop this nigga following me lol but nahh get at me rockaway a train yerrrrr!

  • ....................

  • yeah, I love it too. lol

    I'm gonna miss these models.

  • oo snap my uncle used to live five blocks off there around rockaway and 109

  • yeah cool..

  • I have always hated the subway but your video has made me think twice and now i love it! thank for the video it's cool.

  • The A Train rules..I``ve been to NYC and there`s no other mean of transportation then MTAs transit...

  • the A is nice, but I like the C better because it has alot of r32's.

  • Get your fix of the R-32s while you can because they're soon to be replaced by the R-160s. I used to like the R32s until I got older and went more for the R-44s.

  • yo i lik this video holla at me so i kan put it in my graffiti movie watch the drips

  • I get off on that stop and take the Q11 to get home. Cool. I liked that you filmed this.

  • some plzzz tag a train its been a while and ive never seen a train bombed or taged face to face

  • I got a video of a Tagged R143 M train, check my vids

  • i used to live by the A train in washington heights. do you have any r38 A videos?

  • What the hell....I used to catch the A train to school everyday....I know that was 20 years ago but still....the Rockaway blvd station in brooklyn was underground....are you sure this is the A train, or have some things changed?

  • Rockaway AVE is below ground in Brooklyn; Rockaway BLVD is above I think crossing the Queens border line

  • i miss graffiti...and the old Times Square, but hey what cha gonna do...

  • The car is not painted...what a shame

  • I remember taking the "A" train to work every day.
