  • I dont see anything wrong with people wanting to wear contacts to change the colour of their eyes its them being an individual. However i do think its sad that the girls you spoke to wanted to be light skin as most of us just wish for the sun to come out to tan! Which in my case is a nightmare! People should be able to express themselves whether hair colour or eye colour but wanting to change your race is sad were all the same at the end of the day

  • So if you wear color contacts you hate yourself?I'm getting them because they're cute..and I like trying new things.<3

  • As a black female that wears Grey contacts, I think you're taking this way too... personally? I don't think it's a white supremacy thing at all. Just preference. Eyes, I believe are one of the most beautiful features of man. I love the dimensions and the swirl of colors. It's beautiful. And it would be my luck that I have these dark eyes were you can't see any of that. BORING. So I wear light grey contacts. It's my color. People always ask me if they're real, so obviously they suit me. :p

  • @Mobjafo What a sweet compliment I am more than flattered ;)

  • if i'm going to be lesbian its because of you.. Your beautiful:-P

  • Since the 70,every one stop saying they want the ...black is beauty phase. some how and where, light skin came into view,as i remember light-skin, never went out! people just stop putting it front and center. Iwomen.I myself I love my hair in a neutral look. we are choosing to have...the nose, eyes, hair, from our white sisters. However, our white sisters ...are using the butt.lips, tan, and they look good with it. We should do test each others taste,I love it. it makes life different and it is nice.

  • I agree wit you no more color contacts

  • really?! lol. im niece is black && he as BORN with BLUE eyes !!. how bout you get wit it ?! kaay?!;)

  • lol well you got to ask yourself why do alot of yung black women were fake hair and contacts because it make's them look and feel good. now ask yourself why do white people get alot of surgery done to there body because they got no ass or tits lol so they get it done so they feel sexy. so it goes both ways and I'm latino we don't do nothing just FUCK and fuck more lol so don't feel ashamed blacks and whites we just feel good about are race ugly or not were going out smashing do you digg.

  • Besides, not all Black people who buy colored contacts are self hating. Even in 2010, this was a backwards view of Blackness.

  • "We don't need to wear colored contacts and stuff like that." Stuff like that would include the plastic you put in your hair to get your braids if you aren't aware, love. Why is it so far-fetched that everyone else can buy colored contacts but the minute a Black person does, there's an issue? Sad thing is YOU are Black. There are Black people (yes, dark ones too) who are not born with dark brown eyes. Let's get over this. Shall we??

  • black people bragging about being born with non dark brown eyes lololol are victims of white supremacy. You'll never see white people bragging about being born with dark hair and dark eyes, its only ever black people who make such a big deal over nonsense like this.

  • Read Toni Morrison's "the Bluest Eye"

  • HEY OMG IM black and born with blueyes NO LENS CHK IT OUT ON FACEBOOK YOU NEED TO GO AND SEE THE WORLD BABE PLENTY MORE LIKE ME

  • got to go through the experience in order to understand beauty is skin deep. in middle east women apply face creams to bleach their skin pale and in the west they are addicted to tanning themselves orange.. this is not just an issue for the black girls but everyone else out there going through a certain phase of life.

  • As a black man I personally feel there's nothing wrong with black people or any other race wearing contacts to change their eye color. As time moves forward and humanity forgets the reasons as to why we ever once hated each other. These questions of whether or not a black person should change their eye color will be as trivial as the color blue.

Hopefully one day us black people will forget about being "black" (whatever that even is) people and just be people. No complex and everything.

  • why is it your business. you date white men why do you do that??

  • First of all you're really pretty,

second, i agree with you. I always see Latino's/ Asians trying to be white and to me it just looks fake and retarded...

Thad be like me dressing up like a ganSteR or trying to act black..... when in reality im a dorky white boy... :)

anyways it just doesn't look good,

i think pretty much every race, girls look cute with their own unique attributes.

Black girls have big booties, white girls.....well... sometimes do. :/

fake blondes are gross though. euh.

  • Wow. Black and White people will be forever intertwined by a historical and race/sex based schitzophrenia. All you fools lying to yourselves by saying "I wear light colored contacts, blonde weaves, etc JUST because I just want to --- not because I hate MY Black looks". HAHAHAHA --- what fools. Lie to the world and that's bad. But lying to yourself is SAD.

  • @MrDFJohnson I agree somewhat to what you are saying, but there is no "black look" or "white look" or whatever race look. My son is 100% black and he has blonde hair and hazel eyes, go figure!

  • @cutelilmama82 It's the same with my nephew. Both of his parents are black, but he inheritied my blonde hair triats. Traits that I got from my aunt who also is African American. I also have two daughters, one has blue eyes and the other green. It's funny how genetics work.

  • Its Called A Personal Choice Duh Lol.

Thats Like Asking Why Do Girls Put On Make Up ?

  • LOL no it's a difference...what do flamboyant gay men do? They dress up and wear makeup like women, but are they women? Women wear make up to cover up dark spots or to look extra glamorous or like you said because they like it. But do you see white women with blues eyes wearing brown eye contacts or even gay white men. Nope neva nada will you see that. but why do black people where green blue eye contacts? Wierd isn't it when you put it that way. Why because if we liked our eye color whycontacts

  • well alot of people where contacts to change up there look or sum ppl have to where them to help there eyes yes i wear blue brown and green contacts jus to change up my lookk sum times theres nothing wrong with that. its not like u have to where them thats other ppl that like to where color contacts yes im black and cuben but i love to change up jus becuase u dont wear them. that dont make ever 1 else not wear them

  • Many Black people have natural blue or green eyes: Vanessa Williams, Former NYC Mayor David Dinkins, James Earl Jones, Gary Dourdan....but in their cases as they are American, it is from race mixing.

  • Can you fire lasers strong enough to burn time itself out of your hair?

  • @bellareina. To respond to this video on it's own. Well IMO it's due to our society becoming nothing more then a herd of sheep(white, black, yellow, brown, and pink w/ polka dots). So media and celebrities will dictate to the youth, how/what is.....sexy or attractive. To make a long lasting change, it will have to start with families teaching our youth...That out there is a woman or man for them that will think they are sexy.....no matter what shape or colour they are!!

    Part 2/...

  • @bellareina05 As "AfricanQueen" said it's genetic mutation....It happens to many different people. Not to mention the comments you are makining are WAY off base to be a response to the other video "Black people with blue eyes". The guy in the video has 100% natural eyes. If they were contacts, you'd see a ring of brown. between his pupil and the inner edge of the blue coloured contact lenses.

    Part 1/....

  • they only said that because their parents are ignorant.....my Dark skin, dark brown eyes and I never wanted to be any other thing...because Im already pretty I was never told i wasnt pretty so maybe their parents need to be educated andthan the will change thier opinion

  • stfu; people like change. dumb bitch.

  • @MakeMeUrs45 Why do you have to call her names because she is asking a question? A valid one at that.. Bellareina05, I am white and I have mostly black friends and my best friend has always said that white people got the "good" hair, I don't understand that because her hair holds curl better, it stays curled longer and she can style her hair in so many different ways. Granted she has to relax her hair, but I have to perm mine to get any curl. Women in general always want something else.

  • @diamondgirl828

That wasn;t me, it was actually my friend but umm, i'm black. and i act "white" as people say just because i use proper grammar and all (i'm typing right now so yeahh excuse all the mistakes lol) but i do agree with her on some points but on other points i don't, my friend was just playing around.. so yeahhh just ignore that.. not really a big deal honestly..

  • @MakeMeUrs45 Why do u have to call her names because she is asking a question? A valid one at that.. • i agree if they arent trying to blond their they are wearing color contacts and to me it a disgraces on the black race

  • What is so special about a blue Retina. Many species of dogs have blue eyes thats makes them more better than other dogs ?

  • lol @ you questioning people w/ fake eyes when you have fake hair lol

  • my reason for wearing blue contacts, gray and whatever else color i choose is the same reason y you wear weave (well it looks like weave).but n e who,i like change.for 1 i am a hair dresser and we change our looks up pretty frequently.i love my hair,i love weave,i love contacts.doesnt change who i am,its a way to express myself:)

  • Good vid.

  • Does it matter if people want to change their eye colour, just for fun? I agree that the natural beauty should be emphasized however i'm olive skinned and bought a couple of different coloured contact lenses, for fun. I am brown haired and brown eyed (very dark brown eyes) and I'm happy with them.

  • This response video is awesome. Yes, there are quite a few people of all races with different colored eyes, however; she is making a VERY valid point here. There is too much emphasis on the standard of "beauty" does not include phenotypic African features.

  • YOU ARE INSIDE THE BOX. AND OBVIOUSLY HAVEN'T BEEN EXPOSED TO MUCH OTHER THAN THE NORM...SAD

  • @rodrice82 I love how you commented by just reading the title of this video. The topic of this video pertains to people who hate the way they look and wish to be something else not people who untilize their human right to self expression. If it dont appy let it fly.

  • Ok this is what is goinn on , I'm 14 and we like things that u dnt see on and average person because we want to be different lol :) but than everyone started to where them and even me , myself , have blue and green ones but yeah , they r popular :)

  • What those girls desire is absolutely normal. Beauty is light in the west world. That's our canon of beauty since the ancient times. The point is that you shouldn't be carried in our world, since you belong to Africa.

  • its not that we're not happy with our eyes they just bring out certain features

  • @Kissiq1618 shes not sayin u hate ur eyes, shes talkin2 a specific audience &she's addresing ppl-in HER community- tht dnt like da color of their eyes. Great that u <3 urself. Wen u said, "Are u saying..myself?" if U know that u dnt hate ur eyes, dnt be saying tht, cus u know wats right in ur <3. Shes not tlking 4u, she asks WHY do ppl do it. u kno, cus there ARE ppl that hate their color & use contacts to change that, but if U dont, then like she said, "if it does not apply let it fly" :)

  • so if white people are laughing at us because we wear colored contacts we can laugh at them back because they always want to tan and be dark skinned....no offense to white or black people....

  • to be honest all yall taking it to far real talk yall doing to much yall so uneducated about what she saying did you hear her she said she ask some kids if they can be any thing in the world what would you do and the ysay light skin with long hair 1st off that sad because the media got us that way when in reailty white people wanna be us they get tans to be DARKER they get booty implints and lips things i mean y do we hate our on race to me we the raws and coolest race on the planet

  • but shes right we hate our own race we need to stop we really do one day we will see how beautiful we our one day we will love he each other we are really blinded of the fact who we really our

  • @TaiwoDivine Makeup isn't used to tone down racial characteristics. Unless of course you're someone who purposely uses lighter toned foundations and suchlike to make your complexion appear lighter than it is. < That's a really big issue in the south asian and african american communities. This video is addressing the specific issue of Black girls feeling insecure about their racial heritage, so much so that they wish they were white! It's upsetting! Deeply!

  • I've noticed something... by my own personal observation most people who purchase colored contacts have naturally brown or dark eyes and want lighter colored eyes. So I get what you're saying. The problem is in this Caucasian centric world we live in, often making changes to phenotypes that define your race is a manifestation of a deep rooted feeling of insecurity about ones racial identity. I've been tempted to wear colored contacts before. But decided there's no point.

  • I can understand what your saying. Your not talking about going for a certain style as much as seeing yourself as beautiful and stop trying to be something your not. Your concern is not for the people who do it as a whim for the style, but people who think they have to change themselves to be excepted by society. There are very few people who can look in the mirror and be happy with what they see and I think everyone can understand the difference between enhancing your natural beauty and fake.

  • Interesting question. Some people don't use it as an identity or trying to put a self hate on it. It's sort of like an accessory. There are actually white girls that use them to to change up a look. I think linking it to self hate is a little harsh. I'm not sure if that is actually your hair or extensions in your hair. If they are extensions I wouldn't say that you hate yourself for changing up your look. As for white people laughing at us that is just silly! Who cares !!!

  • Yes I'm white....and yes I was laughing. I laughed just because you said "and yes I know there's white people out there laughing"

  • Wtf. Is she talkin bout? She need to cum to the hood and ask us why we wear colored contacts. Cus we can!!!

  • The Greeks have this idea of beauty where the body is completely symetrical. This is more of a religious form of looking at beauty. They believed that when a body is symetrical that they are truly balance in nature and the universe, and they are healthy.

  • That is because people do not have a mind of their own. They let the media tell them the attributes to beauty. Since we are constantly surrounded by the media's preference of what beauty is, day in and day out. We then regurgitate this preference and make it apart of ourselves. Forgetting what is true beauty. We then strive to be like those men and women in magazines believing we can attract the opposite sex... and it works.

  • I think that they say they wanna be light skinned is so many rapper ( chris brown , Lil Wayne ) throe it I'n dark skinned girls how they like red bones and that makes some so insecure I mean I had hazel contacts and I loved them until I accidentally broke them lol but I wasn't insecure or anything I just wanted something new a change I guess

  • I'm not sure that this is a black/white thing. It may be more of a generational thing & being insecure with how God made us. I agree with the statement you made about why can't we just be happy how we are made...I've seen the most stunning folks regardless of race do things to themselves because they wanted to be different, get attention or weren't secure with who they are/were. And, it seems to be getting worse...some seem to be trying to outdo each other... truly sad

  • i feel that if you wear them to try and be like another race then thats stupid..but if ita just because you want them its really none of my business. Im black and my sister got me topaz blue contacta but thats because she didnt even ask what color I wanted. -___- I would never wanna mimick a white girls eyes just because I find my brown eyes typical..They can actually look quite pretty in the sun. But yeah..

  • @Kissiq1618 YO if it does not apply let it fly. I am just sayin for people who think the more mixed or white you look the better. If you are not one of them that is great enjoy your self. I respect that.

  • ii have dark skin and so does alot of my family members ...including my grandfather with beautiful very much noticeable blue eyes along with my younger brother and great mother... they are blue and sometimes change colors ...having blue eyes isnt a white thing ...its a human one...

  • Want you to unrealistically address Everything in world! :P all hair issues, all eye issues, skin issues, you name it there are hundreds of issues out there YOU just happen to stick with ONE of them. I'm sure you're aware that there are more out there. More in the black community, and branching out to every other background of a human being.

  • This was a very good video. I hate how there were so many ridiculous comments on it, but hey, what can you do? :P I see what you're saying and i agree. I'm getting contacts and might be getting a different colour...I don't want to look like anybody but me- just me with different coloured EYES! :D lol. My eyes used to change colours, but they stopped..and i miss it. So that's another main reason why, for me. :) Um, as for the "black people thing." Obviously, you CAN'T WIN because people on here

  • I have relatives with green eyes...who cares if white people laugh. We don't laugh at them for putting on bronze/brown tannin lotion, when its not their natural skin color. People can't help the way they are born. I also know some black people with blue eyes. I know some black people who have red hair and freckles...and none of them are biracial. So let them pretend ....its not like they don't have Black examples...My sister's hair is a light sandy brown...and we are Black people.

  • I am an African born in Zimbabwe and I have hazel eyes. Girl change in mutation causes a change in color of eyes. Skin color does not define eye color. I am guessing u have not taken any genetic courses in University thats if you are in university but u could always look on wikki and make sure u have facts before posting a video like this

  • @AfricianQueen How dare you. Maybe you should clean the wax out of your ears and listen to the video again. I am talking about people who dont like being black or having dark skin, hating there hair. It is a big issue in our community. You obviously have not gotten through elementary school because you do not know how to listen.

  • @bellareina05 Wow, some people can be so harsh. You posted a good question whether some people agree with it or not. Do not allow others to discourage you from speaking your mind. ALMOST everyone on here had a point, the only problem is that alot of people where posting from a bias point of view. Not everyone gets color contacts just for fashion, some people do want to be something they are not. Typically, I would say I dont care, do you, but I see now how it is influencing younger generations.

  • @bellareina05 i understand what your saying and i agree with this video... what your saying is that black people want to be like white people which is completely true depending on the person...unfortunately I suffer from what you are talking about.. I've always wanted long straight hair and green eyes I love my dark skin but want those two qualities bad. You have a valid question + those who comment badly don't understand it because they dont see a problem with blacks wanting to look like whit

  • @AfricianQueen just sayin wiki is nowhere near accurate...I'm in high school and i know that. so run and tell that

  • @AfricianQueen she's talking about race not varying phenotypes within race. The point is that there's a massive focus on Caucasian features and characteristics being MORE beautiful than features occuring in other races. It makes people feel insecure. I don't think extensive knowledge of genetics is required to make a point that is largely sociological.

  • @AfricianQueen First, you aren't an African queen. The point being made is that Blacks have been taught to hate their physical appearance. You hate being DARK, you hate your large lips, dark eyes, etc. You want to be lighter, have light eyes and smaller lips. A Black girl with these features is highly sought after by Black males and envied by Black females. You were born in Zimbabwe? --- So what? Who cares. It obviously has not benefitted you any. You are just as brainwashed as the rest.

  • still now people saw the beauty mean bretty face skin eye body lips >>>>

no thing will change if the girl is beauty from out she would be control complete >>>

out beauty not enugh inside beauty more important than out

  • I get what your saying. Be yourself, love the way God made you. But if people wanna do something like colored contacts just cause it's what they want to do and not to actually change themselves cause they're black and wanna look white or anything like that, then by all means go ahead. But don't forget to be yourself. You should still know who YOU are, under the fake hair, makeup, and fancy things.

  • f'ck mixed bullsh't with ugly whites! born dark skin stay dark! black love/black power!

  • well black people don't get contacts to look white *hit: im black and i just want colored contacts to try something new* and to tell the truth no black person does it for that reason so idk what you were thinkin

  • @qwinolivia maybe no one you have met. But I have talked to people that do.

  • @qwinolivia how on earth do u know that every black person who gets contacts doesnt get them to look white..i mean they dont in my opinion but y get them they look stupid infact ridiculous black ppl dont have blue or green eyes its like when black or asian or chinese dye their hair blonde!!!!!!! it baffles me

  • God Bless you sis. Right on.

  • if a black person wants to be white, let them be. it's probably like having kids outside their race, so they won't look so black or whatever. it shouldn't matter to you because you're not doing it. i know when michael jackson turn white i was like WOW that is so cool.

  • @skyyeblue101 Well MJ turning white was actually because of a disease and completely out of his control, he just got his skin further whitened so it wasn't blotchy, etc. I kinda get what your saying. But it does matter to her because she has pride in her race, obviously and it's something that means something to her. And a person should love themselves for who they are, how they were born. White people aren't any better than black people and vise-versa. We all have our own kinds of beauty.

  • i know black people with natural green and blue eyes hahaha, and i wear them (sometimes) cuz its fun to change up ur look and try different stuff BUT if you look like a clown or tacky its tmie to stop

  • I love my black eyes, they match my eyebrows and hair, and my air force ones.

  • Wow screw your opinion...Lol Did you really say "Why isn't what god gave us good enough?" Go say that to someone ugly and see how that makes them feel. Some people want to look better. And are you telling me because i'm black i can't change my hair color or put colored contacts in my eyes? As a matter of fact half the hair styles white people use come from asians...Visual K. People just get bored thats all. Its natural

  • You know what I think? I think that you need to worry about yourself and not worry about how other people want to look like. It's there preference not yours so get a life please.

  • Personally i think its just like any trendy accessory people wear to be different. But if they have an issue with their self image and actually wish to be someone else then that is not healthy.

  • i wear colored contacts cause i just like to. i where grey and my natural eye color is black/brown. i wear weave cause im trying to grow out my hair. i love the way i look naturally i just like to change things. white people do not laugh at me for looking different i honestly get alot of compliments in both my natural and unatural state. what god gave me is good enough and im happy with it i just like to change my look . I use relaxers to make my hair managble . Not everything is to look white.

  • @TheMiraDemure then that is okay to me, Im just talking about those people who have the motivation to not want to look black.

  • @bellareina05 I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A CERTAIN LOOK FOR BLACK PEOPLE NOW I MEAN HONESTLY I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY MOST BLACKS ARE A SHAME OF HOW THEY LOOK OR W.E IT IS I GET THT I'VE SEEN IT MY SELF BUUUT YOU LOST ME AT THE END WHEN YOU SAID "YOU KNOW YOU WERENT BORN WITH THT EYE COLOR" SO BLACK PPL HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN I COLOR NOW? NOT ALL BLACKS BORN WITH JUST BROWN EYES U KNOW OR "NAPPY HAIR" EVEN THOUGH YOU DIDNT MENTION THAT IM JUST SAYIN LIKE I DONT UNDERSTAND THT -__-

  • @sheybreezy12

    Why are you yelling?

  • @TheMiraDemure she has a great point a lot of us is like dat she didnt say all but some some really dont wanna be black

  • Its weird, When i was little my eyes there dark brown, But for some reason i allways water blue or green eyes, not sure why... but i think i look a little weird since my left eye is green and my right is brown makes me look odd :/

  • Well my sister has blue eyes and I have green/amber eyes.

  • I think your eyes are fine the way they are. If I met a girl like you I'd be willing to date her.

  • @TAINAGREEN2009 good reason :)

  • I wear grey contacts and im as black as i can be. I wear them cuz i like they way they pop with my facial features. I always wonder why do woman wear make up. and lashes and crap. its just what ppl do when they feel like it enhances them. dont get me wrong. i can leave my house without my contacts. and i would never ever want to be light skin. and i've never notices white ppl eye color cuz its just blends in wit the rest of them(no offense) neway I wear them because I like they way they look.

  • @wrongandwrite Im glad to here why you like wearing color contacts, It seems like a really good reason. I saw a woman last night who looked a fool though with blue contacts obviously contacts. I think people should not wear them for the sake of weearing them you should atleast try to match them to your complexion. Im glad that you are happy with your skin complexion because I am too. I have just talked to alot of folk who are not and I think its sad.

  • To tell you the truth I just like the color blue :)

And it's my fav color so y not blue contacts not because I want to look like that which I don't

I just like to standout a lot and be different

It's like why do woman put on make up? to feel and look pretty? Why do they try to dye or do anything to their hair? It's all just the same question to me like if girls didn't want to look different then other girls then we would probly all look the same but with different shapes and sizes..... And

  • @blackanglewhite Im all for standing out. If you feel good about your self that is awesome. go head and do your thaaaaang. :)

  • I've been seeing a lot of black women marrying white guys so that they can have children who are light skinned with long, long hair and green eyes...

  • @BravaAl I think that mentallity is aweful

  • @BravaAl They can only have green eyes if one of he parents is carrying a gene for that...not all white people have genes for green eyes or blue eyes. Two humans with brown eyes will oftentimes have a child with brown eyes regardless of skin color.

  • i hear what your saying sister but correction white people are laughing at the sisters who put creamy crack and staple as well as glue white hair on their scalp and walk the mall stuck up like their on the catwalk to sexy for men, talk to your sisters sister they sellin out big time!

  • What is wrong with being light skinned? What is wrong with having light colored eyes? Why not teach children to love themselves and others regardless of skin or eye color?? As black people we come in all shades, shapes, sizes and eye colors. Why not embrace everyone??

  • @crberry80 There is nothing wrong about being light skined or having light colored eyes. I just know a few people who hate being dark skin and they have told me they bleach their skin, and wish they had green eyes. Im with you I feel if they had been raised to love themselves like I was they would not have all of those problems with thereselves.

  • Hey, i think your beautiful. Wanna fuck? I have green hazel eyes, 19 years old and im sexay! I bet you wanna fuck me. Why? Because you think Im hot? What does your statement have to say about that? Is it because my looks turn you on and attract you? Ready to come back to earth now?

  • your hot. I love you

  • @jackercrackbox thanx

  • *shrugs* Cuz brown gets pretty boring and i'm fickle as hell.

  • @slingingcatnip good reason :)

  • All people especially women enjoy trying something new. Hair color, eye color, tanning, hair styles. Get over it people. You can't permantly change what God gave you you but no reason people can't have some fun with it. People change thier clothing and dress styles often enough and no one screams "It's the White Media's idea of perfection" its just people responding to fashions. Get over the conspiracy theories its just WOMEN being WOMEN and nothing more. Eve was African .. Get over it LOL.

  • Lot's of people aren't happy what with god gave them. If they want to be light skinned let them dream. White people have a heavy influence on blacks in America. It's just a form of peer pressure turned into desire. It's like my cousin, he's black, he want's long straight hair so he can look more like a heavy metal rocker. I listen to 500% more heavy metal than he does, and I would never even dream of having straight hair, the thought makes me laugh. And it's because i'm not easily influenced.

  • Why do you avoid kinky hair?Did God gave you your hairstyle too?

  • You forgot to mention hair weaves, hair relaxers , tanning lotions, colored nails, lipstick, etc.breast implants, make up. if you going to talk about additives be general.

  • @tuffythetiger maybe your right

  • Well at least they should get light brown contacts or hazel ones cuz black ppl with blue/green eyes look soooo fake.I am Hispanic yet am lighter than most white ppl, pale as a ghost i have light brown hair but my eyes are extremely brown they look black at times, i wear hazel contacts for my vision nd they look very natrual(: basically if u want to change ur eye color get contacts that look real on you(:

  • Ok here is my opinion. I think blue yeys are beautiful. And me as a white boy, I would laugh on black person who wears blue eyes. they just like it. and black people are beautiful!!! peace :- )

  • to be honest. people change things about them selves to them feel better...

everybody has something about them they dont like however in some points you are right i am i dark skinned girl and i unerstand wanting to be lighter or having longer hair... and things like that and you are right the standars of beauty are a little wrong but however... if like their colored contacts and they thing they look good. who are you to question what they want to look like. i mean im sure you not always happy

  • who the fuck is that in the background? lmao

  • @crispykid09 eiether my Husband or my chihuahua

  • honestly i dont believe that black people do it to be white looking....i love my black features full lips...my nose my eyes etc...but its just about varity for me. There are alot of people with colored eyes that get dark contacts just for varity if you can switch things up a bit once in a while why not ?? excuse the typos

  • @newnimprovesT3 your right not all but it is always sad to me how alot of black people have a white bias on beauty. We need more people like you in the community to spread the confidence around cause I have met some sad individuals

  • @newnimprovesT3 thats what I want to hear, but I talked with three preteens and they wanted so bad to be lightskin and have green and blue eyes and long hair. I did not get what the deal is because in my mind they were perfect.

  • I think people feel that way because a light skinned black girl with green eyes subconsiously could stand for mother of the earth. Like .. raw beauty.. she could have led to whites, blacks, middle easterners and asians.

  • when white people wear coloured contacts themseleves

    eeeeeeediat

  • i hate chicks that fake everything. fake hair, nails, tans, boobs & now eyes? its just fucked. youre just making yourself up to be one big lie! its not even you!

  • They're just colored contacts I don't think its a big deal. They just wear them to get attention but it doesn't mean they are trying to change themselves and their personality.

  • It's the same reason that white people get tans and dye their hair black.Very few of us actually want to be ourselves all of the time. Some black people even have naturally blue eyes and many white people have brown eyes.I think it could also be the wow factor too.Ever seen a black person in an all white suit?It is the contrast that catches our eyes and people know it. If anyone has a comment about my name pls read 1 Samuel15:3 and do a little research about Sumerians and beginning of religion.

  • @godXkillsXbabies I'm White and have natural dark brown hair. That doesn't mean I'm tyring to be Black. Even the White people that do tan, it's not trying to look Black or any other race. The only way a Black person can have blue eyes is due to a very rare mutation. Even White people's brown eyes are different to Black people's dark eys.

  • wow you make tottal since. your atheist talking about what god gave us and why isnt it good enough for us? maybe some people would like a change for while, or like them damn color. nothing about not liking what god gave us.

.And then you make a smart ass remark about white people and what we think. i dont see why race even came into a factor here. if people want color contacts let them be dude. and for your freaking information, some WHITE people wear the too.

  • My eyes are green and yellow.

  • that right all people matter color eye we all are different color eye born be color eye any color so dosen`t matter we black use color eye we white color eye we all are race

  • I'm not black but I agree with you soo much! Also, why can't regular brown eyes be beautiful? Everyone always look at blue, green, hazel, and other colored eyes and say 'oh how beautiful' But D.Brown eyes are beautiful too!

  • fuck u devil worshiper

  • @ykemg thats christ like

  • I WEAR IT FOR THE FASHION OF IT, A CHANGE FOR A DAY, NOT A LIFETIME! WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I USE TO WANT GREEN EYES, BECUASE OF THE ATTENTION IT GAVE ME, BUT AS IM OLDER I RELAIZED I LOOK GOOD EITHER WAY!..LOL YA HEARD ME!?

  • I personally wanted green eyes because i think it would look awesome with my skin tone :P like rhianna. that and my dad's eyes are green. well sort of. they're green around the outside and like this honey brown colour around the inside (i'm mixed, my dad's english)

i like being different. but after seeing how many dark people try to get light eyes or seeing how many people in general try to be different by doing all the same things, i figure the effort is futile.

  • @firexeye Stupid inbred your a disgrace to both races your parents ruined there traits

espessiality the recessive trait of blonde or blue eyes.

Go marry a black girl the whites are having enough trouble having you around to mess us up because were now 8% of the worlds population...

  • @a2hunts I literally laughed out loud when I read this. Knowing people like you exist makes me feel so much better about myself.

But you know if I married a white girl I wouldn't be messing anything up either. Since you know, I'm a girl. Its kind of hard for a girl to impregnate another girl. I'm surprised someone as ignorant as you would actually make a suggestion to have a homosexual relationship though. You must be learning which is miraculous. Or you're gay yourself.

  • why do ppl wear collered contacts? y do you wear a weave?

you choose to change your hair and others choose to change the color of their eyes.

also its up most white ppl tan isnt that there way of tryna get darker skin? think about it

  • PS: Your video basically stated that black people cannot do what white people have been doing for years. And I'm sure just because they are white it's more believable.

  • Me personally changing eye color is like how white people dye their hair blonde or black. You can't make a legitimate statement based on what one episode you witnessed. Why aren't you talking about how both black and white girls put weave in there hair? If you are so natural and happy about the way you look why do you have micros? Why aren't you talking about how people tan, bleach there teeth, perms, makeup, and the list goes on. I got one word for you JUDGEMENTAL!!!

  • @krump0505 I'm White and have natural dark brown/black hair. White people can have a wide array of color in our eyes and hair, especially eyes. My mom has green with yellow in it.

  • @krump0505 I guess I forgot to mention I am talking about doing these things for the right reason not because you have low self esteem. As for wearing micros, I did these myself it is a hobby of mine. It is a protective hairstyle for me because I no longer perm my hair. I havent for 4 years now. my hair grows very fast when I braid my hair i'm guessing because it is protected from heat etc. I keep it braided out of convienence. I am not against any one changing only when they have hate.

  • @krump0505 no i seriously dont agree with you on that 1...a white person can dye there hair an it still looks natural ..a black person with blue contact lenses is not natural ....her point is about why black ppl want to look white by changin eye colour when a white person changes hair colour it is not going to make them look like a different race in any shape or form ..i think ur just not getting the posters point!

  • @krump0505 when someone says they are natural it means they don't do anything to physically change the texture of their hair.

  • common, there are lots of black people who are attractive, sexy n beautiful without being white. people who wanna be other than they look like don't have self esteem.

  • Yes you are right, coloured contacts? It's pathetic. I know an African woman who bleaches her skin, wears a blond wig and coloured contacts and she looks pathetic and still ugly.

  • I would like to tell you, That I Loved this video. I am a white girl and I personally like people the way they are. I have a boyfriend who is black and his name is Marcus. And whenever Marcus asks me thigns like, "would I look better with blue/green eyes?" I always get mad at him because i tihnk my boyfriend is beautiful and i wouldn't want him to change anything about him. I really appreciate people for them believing that they are beautiful for who they are.

  • you are so right. i have two adopted brothers i am thirteen and they are four and they are starting to ask questions about their race like sometimes they even say that they wish they were my color (white ) because my dad my mom and my little sister are all white. i constantly tell them that they should be proud with the features that god blessed them with. and hopefully when they get older they will never try to change they way they look. because we all love them the way they are......

  • Why do black people wear colored contacts? One would just have to assume it is the same reason why you're clearly wearing a weave.

  • samething I was saying. I love the way I look!!

  • You can't possibly sit up there and say that all black people who wear contacts are ashamed of their race. I wore contacts in my teenage years and never once wished I was another race. Some people do it just for fashion and thats it.

I don't understand why people think that when black people wear certain things or do things to their hair, they hate themselves.

  • I've blue eyes (and with white skin), and yes i can laugh about it that black people wear blue contacts... i think blue eyes and black skin doesn't look like real it looks fake and most of the times it is fake so.. no i don't like it why should they do that? i think brown eyes can be beautiful

  • i agree with yu 100%

  • bellarina i have a question sweety, why do black women that have white men sound like teenage white girls no matter thier age?

  • @whitebitchnigga I have wondered about some Black women doing that too...lol WHY? although I have seen white women with black men who try to speak with a ebonic slang...why is that? I asked myself..WHY? lol I think its something people feel they need to do to fit in with a certain ethnic group...and yes white people are an ethnic group too...Italian, german, polish..etc..

  • Its like hair dye to me. Like, why can white people do the same thing to their eyes, but we cant? WTF? So we have to stay the exact same way, while everyone else can do the same thing? Im tired of double standards. And black people can be born with green or blue eyes. Wow...way to be stereotypical.

  • @ubergirliz1

    Exactly!

I happen to have a very dark complected grandfather with blue eyes. he's 90 years old.

  • you are not lying!! blue eyes is boring and dull on white people but blue eyes is just plain wired on black people... i understand if black people get light brown eyes but they want blue or green eyes and that is soooo ugly!

    .

slavery was and steal a huge inpact in black people minds.. why? because white people keep it up on t.v. and toys and music and fairy tales books.

    .

black people think to be on t.v. or go up ahead in the world you have to be white.
