@onezeroraid Actually it is possible, but the amount of energy required to transmute lead into gold is far more expensive than the gold it produces. Plus, you would need access to a particle accelerator... I'd imagine not many people have one of those just sitting around in their back yard. :)

@onezeroraid It actually is possible, It just cost way too much money that in the end you lose a hell of a lot more than the amount of gold you get out of it. So they don't do it. You can research it but basically what they do is force the Lead to release 3 protons to change it's atomic number. Atomic number of lead is 82, subtract 3 and you get 79, the atomic number of gold. Presto

YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO MAKE GOLD. THEY ARE SIMPLY BEING HEATED TO A CERTAIN DEGREE THAT WILL TURN THE MALLEABLE METALS INTO GOLD. THINGS TO DO:
PREPARE:
1. SILVER, ORE, IRON, COPPER (SILVER MUST HAVE HIGHER QUANTITY)
2. MIX & HEAT THEM FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS AT 2200 DEGREES CELCIUS.
3. THEN COOL DOWN
4. REHEAT FOR 4 HOURS THIS TIME ADD PYRITE CRYSTALS (IRON SULFIDE) AT 1,100 DEGREE's.

I did a similar project in high school making lead oxide, just teacher heated. Nice ah what's it called fools gold they called. Or yellow lead. Um go to the bank exchange it for money they don't take lead oxide. Or hold it its not gold they'll tell you.

Well, looks like lead oxide to me. And, I think the music is GREAT! Samba rules...if you are a musician. Of course, you have to understand what the clave is. I got to go there when I was a younger man...to Brazil that is. Interesting culture...great musicians. While there with my band, we got to record, and play a concert with Olodum.
