The guy who gave india so much joy was treated badly by his country today . Ganguly was not picked by any team in IPL 2011. I feel sad . I was in front of the TV watching the proceedings (of the auction)............No one took Ganguly. We have not insulted Ganguli, we have insulted ourselves by treating our best captain badly.

As a pakistan cricket fan I can say ganguly was a one dimensinal ,OK batsman, BUT a great character wit lots of courage and determination, exactly what India needed when he came to the scene. for almost a decade he and sachin were the only descent stoke player for india.....

@pradeepanonline Actually, he said the leg-glance isn't the easiest of shots, and he was referring to the fine leg-glance. It is not always easy getting it to go fine, but the ball was well down the leg-side, so I think it was easier than the commentator implied.
