  • How can people just walk by this. It's amazing.

  • Jesus on tenors :D

  • I personally know this guy, and he's a genius. He gave me my first drum lesson.

  • You are now witness to a rudimental drumming revolutionary.

  • The unexamined life is not werth living.

  • can you say major pothead...

  • @xEdgex91

Wow, you don't even know Nick... Totally not a pothead. A pothead could not do this...

  • my eyeballs fell out of their sockets watching this solo. this guy is my hero richt next to bill bachman

  • where did he march?

  • @rootbeerazor Carolina Crown, i think.

  • THIS DUDE IS SICK NO BILL BACHMAN BUT SICK

  • :53 haha just a random Cavalier dude walking by...

  • the guy is from planet QUADSVILLE... no way is he from earth.

  • what a badass

  • He grooves like he aught to have marched SCV! haha

  • something about his hands looks weird but man he's got chops

  • @apr0kalypse i thought the same thing

  • Hell yes.

  • gotta love the french grip!

  • too long of an introduction in my opinion, and I wasn't really fond of adding "lyrics" to a tenor solo.... kind of a bit too flashy too...

    '

but there's still no doubt that he can play his instrument and well at that. Does anyone know what place he got?

  • those "lyrics" you so eloquently dismissed are fromPlato's Apology. it's actually Socrates who says "the unexamined life is not worth living." he did a great job combining some sweet beats + philosophy. not many people do that, but he did it Extremely well. don't be so quick to judge something... it's a beautiful quote in the sense of re-examination of life.

  • Relax bro. There's no doubt that this guy did great. It's just a personal preferance. Don't get so offended.

  • hez a really good private lesson teacher.. i reccomend him.. go werth!

  • He is really good...

And he is writing the percussion part for our 09' show and he might even be our full time tech!!!!!

  • Man, this was so well written. And the sound is so crisp

  • Amazing... And those tenors sound perfect.

  • This is sweet shit.

  • I wish I was Nick Werth.

  • i still cant believe your making up lame ass profiles to make me feel like a jerk. When really im just pissed Adam so chill cus no one else thinks im a douche and i know they probably think your pretty gay so just quit trying

  • I used to drum in high school w/ this dude... Nick, if you ever read this, you are doing some amazing stuff. Keep it up, my man!

  • flower mound is so lucky to have one of the best quad players of our time as one of there techs. Mr. Werth is one of the best along with Bill Bachman and Mike hodges

  • chill dude, we're just thankful for what we have. and nick's leaving after this year, actually.

  • yea everyone neeeds to chill, i agree with adam here.

  • dude? you're gay for being that way! i hate people like you!

  • yeah i go to wakeland, and he comes by sometimes to help us out.

he's one of the coolist guys i know, and an amazing player

  • my favorite thing about this video is watching the people in the background stare.

  • Nick Werth teaches me. He is the most talented man I have ever met.

Best part of the solo = 2:19

    Great Job Mr. Werth

  • this guy taught me when i was in 6th grade and back then i had no idea who he was. this guy is amazing!

  • Would have been clever at the end if he had said "The unexamined like is Nick Werth." Still a bomb solo though.

  • this is a really good solo!

  • holy poop!!!!!!!!!! thats crazy

  • Yeah he is a full time teacher at my school. We still have not gotten the truth out of him. But inside we all know :D

  • Heh, Nick's friend's with my drumline teacher; Thus, we get cliniced by him sometimes. It's funny to see him younger, he doesn't have the shag carpet on his head anymore. Heh.

  • So is it hard to march when you're stoned?

  • I would doubt it, seeing as how a good portion of the Drum Corps community, staff, member, or otherwise, is made up of cannabis smokers. I'm not saying to bash Drum Corps at all. I support it. Ever wonder how the hell people come up with these shows?

  • I'm marching with Northcoast Academy and I'm not a stoner

  • Ralph Hardimon, I heard he used to chief daily when he taught.

  • I wouldn't be surprised, man. He's a drummer brother. Of course he does.

  • Yeah, he looks like a Tool fan.

  • Nah, I don't see meth coming out of his nose

Very cool solo, aside from the title and vocals. Different, that must've been when bill bachman was at CC.

  • lol he looks sooooo messed up on drugs or something
