@DPDeHart - I haven't ever made this with other beans, but maybe Pinto beans would be good. You could try any kind that you like. The flavor is really good - and maybe you could change up the herb if you wanted to something else, too for a little variety.

Anything over Rice is Great! And I love Beans.
What are some other Beans I could use? I Like
Black Beans but are there others I can use?
Something like Kidney beans or something

We just had dinner.
I made little different but still bean with hot sausage and thyme and tomatoes....soup.
My hubby like it very much.
I really like black beans but my hubby have a problem so ~~~
