hey id go get my bow and put up a stand!!! lol id shoot him with my bow..not with a gun cuz the meat is old and tough! i hunt for meat with my gun...i hunt for pride and sport with my bow..its harder than it looks to get one with a bow..i shot over a lil 6 pointer las year.10 dam yrds away..later that eveninng a 9 pointer comes 12 yrds away and i plugged him in the lungs..went 300 yrds and fell over dead!

I hear you. I hunt with Bow, Muzzle Loader and Rifle. My dad came out this year for muzzle loader elk season and got his first Colorado, Public Land and first muzzle loader elk, a nice 5X5. I heard him shoot. Then I head another Shot and another. All in like a minute. I did not know what was going on. I went over to where he was and he said I think i missed. The elk stood there and took 3 shots while his herd ran. Couldn't figure it out. We found him 200 yards away. He's Tasty!

He laid there for a few hours. He has come back and we do have more video and pictures of him. The second video we have was from a few weeks later ant his antlers grew substantially.

we live in Larkspur Colorado, we have quite a few "resident bucks" some just happen to hang out outside the sliding glass door, we are truly blessed :-) Thanks for the comment, take care.

lucky we have a house in ALANTA michigan and when where inside sometime a 16 point whitetail buck scracthing its antlers on our door
