Please correct your description. Summer Solstice is not the only time of year you can visit Stonehenge. Winter Solstice, the two Equinoxes, and throughout the year you can apply for Special Access where small groups are allowed into the stones for sunrise & set. Many forget even visiting during the day, you may not get to go inside the stones (and why should we) but you do cross inside the sacred henge ring. That's probably more than many people in the neolithic/bronze age would.
