@fejkhippiecharlie Yeah actually it's Guitar Rig 4. What I did was record the track twice. I recorded one track panned 100% left and the other 100% right. Makes it stereo and sounds much fuller than just one guitar track. Takes a little more patience to record though lol.
@eric793 Lol, I've had Guitar rig 4 as a demo version and think it was all crap :D
Dude, I'm not a n00b :P I've just began layering guitars. Recording 4 guitars and pan 2 of them 100% at every direction and the other two maybe at 85% at every direction. But really good death metal guitar sound is hard to get. My favourite is Revalver mk3, but the god damn program costs 200$.

@fejkhippiecharlie Ok, thanks for the tips man. I agree, some companies are a little nuts with the prices. If they could sell it cheaper, more people would buy it and they might have more profits lol.
@eric793 It makes the guitars a little more phat, if you know what I mean..
You can also try to have different settings on two of the tracks and then blend those two tracks together. There is indeed more job, but it might be worth it. Some technicians work with eight tracks for the rythm guitars. That's kinda too much work for my taste, when doing stuff on my own in the computer :P
Yeah, these companies is like Metallica. Full price on all albums all the time. Fuck that shit.
Do you use a vst plug for the guitar? If you do, what plugs do you use? I'm trying to get a cool death metal tone, but fails every time.

@eric793 Yeah, first time I heard the Revalver mk3 amp I thought: man, this is the sound I want!
But as I said, 200$ is a little bit too much for my budget. And it's totally impossible to crack!
If some programs were a bit cheaper, I would fuckin' buy 'em all. They can thank themselves for that people look for a warez solution.
I've tested Amplitube 3, but it was all crap IMO. You should test the poulin amps! Look for poulin legion as a start. Then use some IR:s in lecab2 :)
