cult. first off, qi gong is individual, it is like medicine. Everyone should not do the same thing or it will hurt some people. 2nd it is a physical practice, but is often used to influence people religiously or politically. Falun gong lies for political gain. QI gong is NOT banned in China, but taught in hospitals. This is a cult plain and simple. Go to China and ask people...don't accept the brainwashing you get in US parks.

Doesn't an "evil cult" glorify it's leaders, slander and persecute dissidents, exploit people, lure people by promising them a "heaven on earth" etc.. Moreover some "evil cults" are even said to have forced labor camps and a private army to gain and maintain power by means of violent revolution if necessary...

QiGong is not banned in China... but groups that don't believe in Communism are...

Now look at your great and wonderful Falun Gong organization. My impression of it was that it did nothing except bashing the Chinese government for the last nine years. You don't gain support by verbally abusing your opposition! Where is your forebearance and your purported ability to endure?

You claim that Falun Gong protests are similar to those of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. Yet did Gandhi or Dr. King ever bash their enemies the way you guys did? No.

Dr. King told his followers to endure not only the slanders of the White supremacists but also the physical beatings by the Southern police. He never rebuked the evils of Segregation...

Because he didn't have too.

If you examine the Falun Gong organization closely you'll realize that Master Li is nothing but a shameless fraud.

1) Li claimed that a Taoist Immortal gave him supernatural powers. Why did he become the "Supreme Buddha" later in his career.

2) Li claimed that he didn't benefit monetarily from teaching Falun Dafa. How did he get enough money to build a mansion?

3)Falun Gong claimed to be a non-political organization. How come they bash the communists in every issue of the Epoch Times?
