My dear hungaryhotshot, this is now the second time a stumble over your cretics that Documentation's aired and Produced in German speaking countries are in their native language.just think a minute....should they do it in English or maybe even in Hungarian.
This was aired in Austria (see ORF which means Östereichischer Rundfunk) The native Language is German. How do they do it i.e. in France Italia or Sweden or for that matter in Hungary?
well most stars of this music tied themselves to european roots. rolando is born mexican but lives in france and claims autrian background. sort of maria callas never promoted herself like greek.
embarrassing for who, sweet Lilli? do you think i don't know that? However, just to remind you they weren't two separate countries 1938 - 1945 when Hitler annexed Austria to cheering Austrian crowds.
But you are missing my point . This video
would be interesting but it's not available even with English subtitles. What market is he aiming at?
Well, we are all glad for the fact that these times have passed! And if you write "by the Germans, for the Germans" about something that came from Austria in 2009, it is simply wrong.
And yes, I AM missing your point. There are loads of videos on youtube in all kinds of languages. Lots of them are neither in English nor do they have English subtitles. What IS the problem? Just try to live with the fact that this is one of many youtube videos which you don't understand. ;-)
I gather you are Austrian, Lilli. I've been to your country many times and enjoyed it.
However the much touted film 'La Boheme' hasn't even been released in North America for a long time for who knows what reason. I question the director's judgement for missing out on this huge market.Just now, I noticed that PBS is going to show it. I hope it lives up to its expectations. as ever Janos (hungaryhotshot)
actually I am Canadian. My wife gave me the username for fun.
So nice that hardly anybody understands the low language Villazón choses to use in trying to be funny. He wasn´t my favorite to begin with but this does it for me. So much for a Mexican "Divo."
Miiimiiiiiiiiiiiihijodetupinchemadre.... Hahahahaha Villazon!! XD

La Boheme by the Germans, for the Germans. even these lousy videos are in German. Not even subtitles.
Anybody who wants to enjoy this production should get the CD from DGG.

It is always a bit embarassing when someone tries to be critical, but lacks the basical knowledge.
Austria and Germany = two different countries.
