I had a go in a friend's star but the string kept slipping for the back rest, maybe it was a bad boat (it was second hand) but hope the 2010 outfitting is better
it's the same outfitting.. and I had the same problems with the strings.. but you just need to change them. they have no grip if they are weared out. it's easy to change and you can find that kind of string everywhere. good luck
