Well, technically Jean was first, but your point about the movie version is well taken.
Since Jean (as Phoenix) could destroy galaxies, I'm inclined to say she's more powerful, but I really loved Lyta and watching these scenes scenes again was very moving. (I'm a fan of Pat Tallman, too.)
if you think about it, she is the perfect embodiment of jean grey. even at the end she was a very good working model of the black queen/early dark phoenix. i know i am not the only one to see this.
Totally awesome compilation! Lyta's always been one of my all-time faves too. Her creepy eyes always freaked me out! Scared o' her!!! Pat Tallman is the exact opposite though, the sweetest, kindest, most generous guest I've ever seen at a convention. Love her!
I think I dated her. She did that eyes-black thing when I called her by my old girlfriends name while we were having sex.
