The signs of last day are not clearly mentioned in the Qur'an and even the Prophet peace be upon him presented the things on one single day from morning till night as he did not want to give a chronological order to the supposed happening so the companions wrote whatever they remembered .
This is evident by differing accounts as seen on reading Hadiths.

I also though Muslims made a point out of the perceived fact that the Quran has not been changed since the time of Muhammed, and is therefore the unmodified word of god?

@Soulkillerksa Because people can hold silly, even stupid, in fact even dangerous ideas without being bad people. I refuse to respect silly, stupid and dangerous ideas. For example - "childhood vaccination has caused an epidemic of autism." Are there any ideas which you do not respect?

@ozmoroid ok maybe my english is not good but what i know ideas and actions are not the same . you have ideas i have ideas but still we can live together , i am gonna act on my ideas like i want to say bad words then i croos more then just and idea it's and action there for other will disrespect me and more but not everyone who has the same idea coz the other didn't act so there still ok . if ideas or belives or fathe or lies i think everyone can respect everyone. it also in the qurran like that

@ozmoroid i respect all ideas . but pleas don't misunderstand . ideas are in our heads baist on our ideas we act and our action effects it will make the other person makes his ideas put only when he react it's not coz of your ideas it's coz of the action you did . my point is ideas and action are not the same . i disrespect people stupid actions like " i kill you if you don't be a muslim " that's stupid . i hop my english is good sorry am really trying my best . no hate .

@sdrawkcabgnipytmi yes you got it am happy you understand . like the law it can't put me in jail just coz i had and idea in my head to kill someone "only example i don't have any ideas to kill anyone" so only when i act based on my ideas ofc then the law will be in action and i take what ever the law or nature will coz of my action . here is a nother point sometimes the reaction is not good but you have to think befoer we get a bad reaction and then it never ends . only if we are smart it stops

Yes, people should be free to think what the want, but some thoughts are just plain wrong and stupid. People who believe in and worship a being that threatens to burn them for all eternity in hell is a good example. I don't want to force anyone to not believe in such absurdities, but I have to right to make fun of them for their beliefs, and I would like to convince them with reason that they are wrong.

In some cases it is right to make fun of you. For example, lets say that you claim that no computer programs can be written in C++, even after you've been given a list of programs that have been written in that language. In this case you refuse to listen to reason and evidence, and at this point it becomes acceptable to make fun of you.
