Putting lemon juice on avocado? Wouldn't that make it sour? Wouldn't it be better just to wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent browning?

When the air touches the avocado flesh, it starts the browning process immediately. Putting an acidic fruit juice on the avocado helps prevent the browning; it doesn't make it sour. Putting the avocado in plastic wrap will still end up with a browned avocado the next day.

Yeah..that's ONE way to open an avacado. The fussy way. The way I do it? Cut, open, pull out the seed and lick the good stuff off of it....mmmmmm. A little salt & pepper, throw in a splash of red wine vinegar & extra virgin olive oil, then spoon it right outa the shell & devour with gusto!
